Unless you're using the term "mod" in the broadest sense. Yes, in your words it would be a mod, but in mine it would be a "total conversion". Mods are smaller things like user made weapons or new character models, not an entirely new game.

Master Chief, I think Half-Life 1 needs the remake. The first could have been a lot better with newer technology (and the second hour ripped out) and better graphics/physics.

I'm going to love "Questionable Ethics". Best chapter ever.

I was all set to get Half Life Source because I thought it was a remake of Half Life 1, turns out that it's just importing everything from the original into the scource engine and cleaning the textures a little. Very dissapointed I was.

A couple of points. Your two examples of me doing quote wars...well, they kind of sucked. The first one didn't even have quotes (was that a mistake? honestly?) and the second one wasn't what I was talking about, at all. There's a big difference between breaking a post up to make it easier to read and dissecting it sentence by sentence, which I've seen you do, over absolutely nothing, and basically make reading a thread a chore, which many besides myself have commented on. But, I'm sure in your mind you got me or something so whatever. It's funny that you bring up how it's all opinion...after telling me that I'm wrong and that HL2 is good and all that. Since those words have been apparently taken from somewhere and not your own, isn't it appropriate to say that you were *gasp* quoting (oh my God, I said the forbidden word, didn't I?) someone there? Or are you really that dumb as to actually think that by "quoting" I only meant wrapping others' post in quote tags around sentences of other posters? No wait, don't answer that. But that still doesn't change the fact that you've initiated and engaged in countless number of "quote wars" yourself, including a couple of ones with me. Besides, it's just my own way of being thorough and specific when I'm replying to a post. If it really bugs someone so much, I don't see anyone forcing them at gunpoint to read all that, especially when it's something that doesn't concern them to begin with.

Fact of the matter is that you're always so preoccupied with injecting your posts poor smartass remarks and failed witticisms that you forget to do the most important thing when replying to a post - to actually read what you're replying to. I had made it exceptionally clear that I was primarily arguing against your senseless statement where you said that "it's a fact that Half Life 1 & 2 both suck" in reply of which I stated that there was simply no way for you to back that brainfart of yours with valid facts or anything with quantifiable merit. Not only that, but I also outright said that your "baseless opinion is insignificant and utterly unimportant" essentially meaning that I couldn't care less about your unsubstantiated babble. You should be playing Half-Life 2 S-mod, it's Half-Life 2....but with like double the weapons, better sounds for a few guns, more enemies, one extra "puzzle", melee kick option, and bullet time button. For best handling of bullet time, set sv_infinite_aux_power to 1
