Nicko, thats the one that has the light powers? Or is Nicko the one with the staff that comes outta her?? I bought my 13 yr old niece the first 2 Runaways Digests and I read some of of the first. Only ones i seem to remember right now are Alex and Molly.

Ah, now i remember. Yeah, I guess I read the second one aswell, i vaguely remember the whole encounter she had with that vampire guy. Before the Cloak and Dagger (or Dazzler as Molly said) appearance.

Is Molly still with them?? I see some potential in her because of her strength.

umm i havent read volume 1, wich sounds like what u had read.. but ive read all of volume 2.. Molly's still there, she rocks. and Gerty (girl with the dino) died and gave the dino to her bf chase before she died... Then there's the new member in volume 2.. Victor.. who is the son of ultron...

oo and the "light girl" who really is the rainbow girl alien Karolina, she came out as a lesbian and is dating a superskrull who changes himself into a woman for her

The Digests only cover 6 issues like a TPB. So the first Digest is #1-6 and the 2nd is #7-12.

Damn, Gert dies. Is Chase is the guy with the flame thrower hands?? For some reason I don't remember that guys name.

And if I could shape change to be with a hot lesbian I would.

ummm Chase in the early issue's i believe wore electic gauntlets and hasnt warn them at all in volume 2... he usually drives the leap frog and his parents were mad scientists... he doesnt really have any powers.. hes just smart

He's just smart?? That woulda fooled me. He's kinda bumbling around in the stuff i read. And yeah, he wears these gauntlets (called fistigons) that shoot fire and let him control it like Pyro.

Its not bad, I think its pretty good. I'd say YA and Runaways are pretty close. I wouldn't say one is better than the other, atleast from reading the beginning of both. I know Runaways has a hard core following so I can see why so many would say its better but as a guy who happened to read both about the same time they're both good and I enjoyed them for what they were.

But I'm into some crazier s***.

young avengers has essentially become its successor (sales wise) but both are amazing... i love them to death, definately 2 of the best books to come out of marvel in the past 20 years..

but what i do want more then anything is a runaways movie.. it'd be so easy to do, and i think it'd be great on the big screen... add to that the fact theres no need for a big marvel hero in it.. and it could be an awsome movie

esp when i hate seeing crappy ass movies like Zoom being made... Runaways would rock.. i mean ya got a telepathic dino.. a rainbow alien... a witch, an andriod, and a lil girl who has super strength... plus they friggin try to destroy there evil parents!
