Halo 3 Has Shipped (And Arrived)

Unplug the ethernet cord before you play. Definitely worth it.

Just remember.

Our beloved Halo 3 is already being shipped and is making its way into retailers around the world, and employees are being warned not to mess with them otherwise the pink-slip-hammer will be dropped.

In a memo sent from corporate to numerous electronics retailers including Gamestop, Wal-Mart and Game Crazy, they are warning employees to not open shipments of Halo 3 until launch day arrives and those who break the seal can and will be fired on the spot. Stories from numerous retail employees are popping up all over confirming this heightened Halo 3 awareness with some retailers going as far as to lock up early Halo 3 shipments so no one is tempted to open them. And even with such security we can almost guarantee someone or some store (here's looking at you Toys R Us) will break the street date or leak a few copies. Heck, Australia is already a part of that black market.

;)

I work for GameStop as an Assistant Manager, and we actually have the "open no box" policy regarding Halo 3. What is even funnier, is after BioShock, we have direct numbers to Microsoft to report retailers who are selling early. LOL I call it the tattle tale phone line. So lame. Anyway, the game is defenately out there. Our midnight release is going to be pretty big, our store alone (we are the only game store in my town) has over 300 reserves, 80 of which are the Legendary Edition. That **** is gonna take up half the store.

Seriously. Just don't be connected to Live for a while and play the thing.

I spoiled myself, since I won't be able to play it until it comes out on PC anyways. I wish the videos were higher quality.

I could care less about the miltiplayer this year. I know its gonna be fun, I'm going to play fine just like Halo 1 and 2, but I realllllllly want to see what happens to MC and the others.

Wow, great one. If you really want to insult him, send him piss in the mail. That'll teach him.
Don't mind GFreeman. He's simply disgruntled because his 360 broke and he messed with it only weeks before Microsoft announced their Super Warranty. His ruined life is now lived day to day with him trying to look for good PC game releases before Crysis. I even saw him looking forward to "The Witcher" in the PC forum.

Still, a good man all in all. Just in a bad way.

Oh. Sorry.

Hey, well, Orange Box is almost out, with TF2 and Portal. Should be badass.

You know, I really don't find myself too excited about The Orange Box personally. I really liked Team Fortress and Portal looks cool, but... there's just something indescribably dull about the whole thing. I think it's the presence of Episode 2.

I cant wait for it to come out. TF is something my friends and i are starting to plan for.

You win the "LOL" award of the day!

Have you guys seen Halo 3's ending.

That is complete and utter Bull $hit. A 2nd grader could write an ending that stands a better chance of holding anyones attention then that p.o.s. for an ending.

That was so anti-climactic its not even funny. Typical Bungie, Halo 3 is being called "let down of the year" according to news4gamers. Looks like Bioshock is the new Halo microsoft is looking for.

I'm still going to wait inline for Halo 3 though. :) I'm just really disappointed with how this game turns out, I had a feeling in my gut that Halo could not be made into a franchise and my gut feeling is true. They've twisted the story so out of wack that its just not fun/cool anymore.

Nothing will ever top the first Halo game. :(

So much for next-gen.

I saw the ending, yes. I didn't expect much out of Halo 3's campaign anyway, so I can't say I really cared that much. Still, ****ty ending nonetheless.

Halo 3 multiplayer. That's where it's at.

I know multiplayer will be amazing cause I played the beta, but I mean I like campaign a lot in games and thought Bungie would deliever and answer all of my questions. :(

The video was so crappy I couldn't even tell what was going on.
