I didn't pre-order Gears of War, so I went to Gamestop and the guys there were like "*Gyiiiish*... shooda... pre-ordered the ggyyyaaame" so I gave him a look like I wanted to kill him.

I went to FYE, and lo and behold, they had like, sixty copies. They even had plenty of Special Editions. I got the Special Edition.

Dude I hate game stores, there totally rude and just overal jackasses.

I have been cheated out of tournies, been harassed, been sexually harassed, been told to leave just for walkin in the video store not theres(for what i cant remember)

So I go to trade in at a gamestop, and its like they try to play my ass like i dont know what there doing.
Game Crazy was the worst. All the things above made me never want to walk into a gamestore.
Ebgames, they dont even say hey to you, unless your a regular.

Like they know games better than the person not working there, hell I updated them on everything before they had it on most games when i walked in. Yet you get treated like Crap cause your not in there everyday, like there better than me, yet half of them are flat out losers, like the sterotype says.

I have to give you a big cheers for that post. A lot of the time I go in, they start talking about games I knew everything about months before. I usually play along like I'm hearing the info for the first time, because the size of the guy's nerd-wiener apparently depends on it.

But yeah, harassment was a big problem for me for the longest time. If I wanted a game "new" they'd insult me for not saving $3. I guess they're surprised that people want a disk that wasn't rubbed on some guy's ass and it's worth the extra few dollars.

And if the game wasn't on the cover of GamePro at least twice, I get a "Pffftt... and it'sh nyot even a good gyaaame shhhheesssh mishter!" from the dolts.

I'm just glad they don't ask me if I want to become a "member" of any scams anymore. Talking your way out of those things used to be ass-rape.

the people at my gamestores are ok. one of the dudes is cool as ****, but then again he's a drummer like me, and he's black. they kinda laugh when people buy used games for 17.99 when they can get a new copy for 19.99 ala Kingdom Hearts II, or the firtst one that i went to go buy last week. The guy was like "you really wanna save an extra buck fifty to play a used game when you have no idea what the guy did to it?" and I toldhim its the only way I could get the game, no where sells sealed copies of a 6 year old game and he said he had a few copies left in the back so he went and got one for me.

Game Stop's membership card is like, $15 a year. You get 10% off anything used, and 12 issues of Game Informer. Thats a great deal if you ask me.
