How can they start pre-orders already when they don't even know the date it's coming out? It could come out in 2009 for all they know.

It's stupid to start pre-orders before you even know the release date, because as far as they know the game could never come out. Though, it's Halo so even if the whole Bungie team was obliterated in a horrible blaze, it'd still be released.

actually Bungie and MS have been saying it'll be out next year...and I believe them as they have been working on it since Halo 2 came out, and I doubt they would have released the trailer that said coming in 2007 if it wasnt really coming then
