I had NEVER heard of this flick, but i ran across it on FEARNET ONDEMAND. All i have to say is that it is one of the most disturbing thrillers i have ever seen...absolutely awesome and sick!

I recommend everyone to check it out on OnDemand, Fearnet section while it's still up there.

Stars Ellen Page on 'X3' and 'Juno', and Patrick Wilson.

It's been out on DVD for awhile.

Yeah this is the first roll I saw Ellen Page in after X3 and she just blew me away. The story was twisted and beautifully done. Great flick.

Saw this a few years ago. thought it sucked balls

Hated this movie. I heard so many good things, and my friends all said it rocked their balls off. But it was extremely overrated and meh. Just seemed like it was trying too hard or something, I dunno.

I saw this at the cinema some time ago. Really good. The [BLACKOUT]"castration"[/BLACKOUT] scene had me on the edge of my seat. I like how you never actually see the contents of the little vault in his house, and what it really was hiding there.

Strong performances from the leads. Narrative was thin and relied on shock value, but the acting carried this film enough to make it enjoyable.

I'm really suprised i had never heard of it before. I was merely scanning through the OnDemand menus and just happened to click on it. I loved it.

I liked it, a good way of doing a low budget thriller. The two leads were fantastic.

When I was in England, a friend of mine happen to rent this... I could only watch half before just going to sleep. Its the type of stupid movie that people watch to think their deep or something. The dialouge is absolutely horrendous and Ellen Paige is so smug that I just wanted pimp slap her. Christ, what a preachy ****in movie... This was stupid as hell and I refused to see anything with Ellen Paige in it.

Meh overrated. I love ellen page but the fact that everyone jocks this movie is annoying. It was ok but its old.

good movie. i enjoyed it. the first 2 acts seemed to transcend the expected genre, while the third act seemed to be pretty typical of the genre. so that may be a bit of a let down for some people, but as a straight thriller its good.

I noticed it on demand a few nights ago but decided against watching it. A little too twisted for my taste.

I was amazed that the guy was actually able to walk around after he lost his 'assets'

I think you missed a critical point of the movie.

That the castration never happened. It was all a set-up to teach him a lesson.

Ah, i was wondering why he pulled off that big binder clip. But now i'm wondering what she had in those two candle holders, and put down the garbage disposel unit...

It was made abundantly clear to me on the first viewing.
The footage she was showing him proved to be a pre-recorded tape. The appliances used to substitute for his gonads were fake. They had an entire exchange explaining why she did it. Guy even plainly asked why she'd go through all that trouble for a fake surgery.

I don't know how you'd miss it.
