'HARD CANDY'..an awesome, awesome thriller!

Hated this movie. I heard so many good things, and my friends all said it rocked their balls off. But it was extremely overrated and meh. Just seemed like it was trying too hard or something, I dunno.

Better than not trying hard enough.

Love this movie, great writing, acting, and cinematography; and very cerebral.

I thought it was a great movie when I watched it, lots of tension and a subject matter that would hit home with anyone really. Great performances too. Isnt that the same Patrick Wilson that is Nightowl in Watchmen?

this is not a movie that i would wanna watch again and again, but it's a very slick indie movie. with a random cameo by Sandra Oh.

This was a really good movie. I saw it last year and had to watch it again the next day. It is just such a tense tight-nit thriller with two really good accomplished actors and a simple story. It feels like a play and it is unsurprising to know now that a playwright scribed it. It was simply more tense than any slasher movie could hope to be and really ****ed with your head.

I would call the movie simple, but not shallow. Those who do I think just missed the point and wanted more violence. This is just, imo, one of the best thrillers of the decade. The ending is a little forced, but it ultimately works as the audience is exhausted, so the pedophile must be as well.

I like the director of this, albeit 30 Days of Night had some real pacing problems.
