Is anyone gonna watch it tonight? It premieres tonight and lasts until the start of july. its a mini series.

Its suppose to be a horror tv show. Where people gotta guess who the killer is. It takes place on a island and all these people are at a wedding.

Katie Cassidy who played Ruby in season 3 of Supernatural is in it.

In a interview they said they filmed the deaths in this like a movie. So the deaths will prolly be pretty gory. Its on at 10pm on CBS.

Harper's Island and Southland both on TiVo.

The creators said if the ratings are good enough they'll have a new cast/mystery next year. See how it goes.

i'm watching right now and its interesting so far. As the ep goes on it should reveal more.

I watched it, it definitely seems like it could be interesting.

Southland had the more interesting pilot but still up in the air about how both will continue. The deaths were great, introduced a wide variety of characters. Hopefully its like Veronica Mars and the killer wasn't show in the first episode.

Color me intrigiued...

I was actually shocked that they

Killed Uncle Marty. I was expecting them to kill the kid who lost the engagement ring. He was perfect slasher fodder. A seemingly stock character who was left alone in a secluded area, naked. How do you not kill him? But instead they (bravely, might I add) broke the cliche and killed Marty who was one of the more interesting characters. There was so much mystery around him, with the gun, and the bag of money. I thought he would be one of the characters they explored...but just like that, he's gone. It was a brave and bold move and enough to assure I tune in next week.

Right now, and this is just a blind guess...I see the sheriff/main character's father being the killer.

The preview for next week said he killed the island's original killer. My guess is that guy was either his partner or his scapegoat and he was in on the original murders. He will regain the trust of his daughter, only to turn on her.

I will watch it next week but I found him to be the most likable and interesting character, the rest are essentially walking cliches.

I'm sure there will be a Michael Crichton moment where there is a storm and it knocks out communications and makes it impossible to leave by boat.

The fact that he was so likable is what made his death so shocking

But you're right, several characters are cliche but I think its intentional so far. I noticed a lot of subtle hints that many of these characters have hidden flaws and dark secrets that we'll learn more about as things progress. Don't forget, this is based on "And Then There Were None," by Agatha Christie and in the novel, everyone seemed like perfect cardboard cutouts at first and then we learned more about their crimes/why they were being killed as the story progressed. I think this will be the same and this episode was essentially just ground work.

And I bet you're absolutely right about the Michael Crichton moment :woot:

I was surprised by that as well.

yeah, the uncle just suddenly missing his lower half was unexpected to say the least

if things continue like this though, I'll definitely be enjoying this

I watched it and enjoyed it but they still have some improving to do.

Im guessing the engaged couple will be around for awhile since it would raise to many questions around the island if they dissapeared suddenly.

ANd im guessing the girl whose mother died will most likely make it out alive.

I'm thinking the groom is in on the killings.

 Just finished watching it myself & was shocked to see that happen.

I like the show. Looks cool.

Interesting idea, very Scream.

But why would the groom be for killing his own Uncle? Unless he is really messed up in the mind.

I maintain its the Sheriff, and he was the original killer and simply killed the other guy as a scapegoat

All I could keep thinking last night when I was watching it was Scream.

Lol. I thought he was just getting stabbed multiple times under the bridge. It was a nice shock to see that his entire lower half was gone.

I liked the premiere. Im not sure whether this is a straight up slasher or if it's like a ghost story. Its mostly because of the weird little girl.

All I know is that they better not kill Chloe too quickly. It would be a waste of hotness.

i have to say that the show is pretty sweet. enjoyed it so far. looking forward to it next week.
