Oh ya I know that, I was just glad they where able to get the actor back again this season. They could still do the plot without him. But having the actor there is just a little better.

This is true. Although, how else would they really go on with the plot without Mark any longer? He started with hallucinations and then finally saw Lucifer, so I think to prolong that arc would show Lucifer, at least one more time. I think he may still have those hallucinations, but Sam may be able to get ride of Lucifer with those hallucinations.
