This is a Flavor of the Week type of thread. If your musical tastes are anything like mine, you always have a new favorite or a certain song that you've got on repeat constantly. This is a great way to share your musical tastes and discuss them, as well as check out what your fellow posters are into. You might find something new that you enjoy.

Also, post a youtube vid if there is one so we can hear it too :)

if you do post lyrics to go with em, how bout putting em in spoiler tags so that the pages don't get to muddled? K.thx.

I'll start it off.

For those who watch American Idol, you probably know who Adam Lambert is. He's a frontrunner I think, but I was never really blown away by him til last week's performance on Motown Week. He did a cover of Smokey Robinson's Tracks of My Tears.

Not only had i always loved the lyrical content of this song, but i love the slower, more acoustic arrangement.

btw here's the original version if you'd like to compare.

I can't stop listening to "Take a Bow" by Muse.

that's an interesting song, definitely fits in with the watchmen theme.

so glad that wasn't a madonna cover by the name lol

Lately I've been listening to "My Eyes" by Travis after catching it on an episode of Smallville. Such a catchy song!

Also, since Watchmen came out, Unforgettable has been stuck in my head. I've always liked the song, but the way they use it in the movie is so hauntingly awesome that I've been listening to it a lot lately.

Unforgettble is a great song. Unforgetable was a great song for the moment in the movie too. Watchmen had a great soundtrack period. I really like the version sung between Nat King Cole and his daughter Natalie. I have that on my itunes.

The song really appeared on my playlist a lot after Nas did that song with Chrisette Michelle "Can't Forget About You" and it sampled it at the end.

Haha, how unfortunate. But yeah, the song is totally catchy. I looked up the band and a lot of their other stuff is pretty good. You should check them out.

Been listening to The Black Angels, recently discovered them.

I listen to the uncensored version a lot more, but... I'll keep it safe and post the clean version instead:

I can play the opening to that song on the piano. This is proabaly their best song IMO. They sing it so much better live, though. This is the one they sang in Toronto. The ending is amazing.

I recently picked up the new Lacuna Coil album and it's pretty incredible. One song that really impressed me, despite being totally different from their style, is "I Like It". I keep listening to it. Great song.
