Have 'Mods made non Mods scared to create threads out of fear of them getting locked?

This place used to be buzzing with new threads,now every time I look I see the same old thread been bumped up. I even had to go to the 2nd page to find the latest thread.

Well I have been officially told to not make threads in the community forum but I'm cool with updating a few threads everyday since I usually report on the same type of stuff. I can see the point considering 2 of those threads are already on there second threads now so that would have been a ton of threads and most of them probably wouldn't have gone past a page or two

I put up with SOME threads, but when we've had to delete or merge threads because of one word difference in another it's silly.
THEN there's threads made to be a thread to just plain Troll someone or something is just plain hateful.
I don't think I've ever made anyone afraid to post except when I put my foot down with VS threads in the Thor threads
