Not sure if this has been discussed before, but just finished reading this book.

The Physics of Superheroes

Very Good, quite scientific - but interesting all the same. Examines whether there is real science in comics. Could someone with the Atom's power really travel on electrons down the phone line? Was it spidey's webbing or the fall that killed gwen stacy? Plus it examines bloppers too - such as Cyclop's powers
