HBO First Look

It was obvious in the comic, it's obvious in the film. I don't see a problem with that. Watchmen isn't a whodunnit, its a character piece.

We know that, but the GA doesn't. I'm not going to thrash the movie of anything. Hell, I've been waiting for this since I first read it. But the GA will start thinking that as soon as they see this. Just an observation, nothing more.

if it's a good translation, it should be that obvious onscreen as well.

My point is that that isn't a problem. When one reads the comic they know from the start that Ozy is the villain, the same goes for the film.

We finally got to see Bubastis in action!

it was....amazing, even though that line from rorshach isn't in the book the way JEH says it with the blood splattered on his mask is just bone chilling

I can't claim responsibility for finding this. I'm actually not sure who did, but I'm glad they did.

Veidt always, always, always struck me as the most likely to be the villain in the book. He's dark, serious, powerful, and aloof. The fact that audiences are going to be suspecting him of it is even better, because when he's then revealed as the man behind it, the fact that he may not, in fact, BE the villain, but the hero, or neither one of them, will cause people to stop and think about things a little more.

Nice, makes it much easier to screencap.!

The way Patrick Wilson says "Nite Owl is a guy in a suit...he has gadgets and he has an owl ship" is amazingly hilarious.
