Lol I can't say I blame you Chesterfield. Sydney Sweeney is really gorgeous man and it's still hard for me to believe that she is the same chick who played Eden Spencer in The Handsmaids Tale. As much as I was captured by her beauty though my main crush will always be on Alexa Demie. I have a had a thing for her ever since I first saw her in Mid 90's. Both women aren't just super hot either, but really talented actresses.

…it’s astonishing how infested I am with these characters. This show is just so special, extra level.

I tried this series out, but after episode 3 the show presented me 100 d*** pics already and a lot of weird fetishs. And after my favorit character turns into a cam girl b**** I cant go on with this, just feel uncomfortable with the "only sex and drugs matter"-theme. :csad:
Does this change in the next episodes?

Zendays acting is on point though.
 
I loved the way this episode opened with that little flashback for Fezco and Ashtray and it was a nice surprise seeing Charmain from The Sopranos show up as Gangster Grandma.

There were actually quite a fee little cameos in this episode than I expected from Daeg Farch to Richie Meritt and Demetrius Lil Meech Flenory who looks like will be in a recurring role this season.

The ending was satisfying asf too lol.

No. It doesn't change and guessing by this first episode of season 2 and Zendaya herself putting out a little statement, it's gonna get even darker and more disturbingly uncomfortable.
Thats just what this show is. Definitely not for everyone.
 
That premiere was insane. Shocking opening and ending. If anyone doubted that Fezco, his brother and his sick grandma are hardcore, they no longer do. Wow. I can’t wait to see where the show goes next.

One thing I can’t remember… did Nate graduate last season? Or is he a senior now?

So this episode gave us some backstory on Cal; nothing particularly shocking but it makes him a little more sympathetic. Also, I’ve watched enough of Ozark and Breaking Bad to know that that Rue’s plan to sell all those drugs is REALLY going to come back around and bite her in the ass.

Also, interesting curveball with Elliot; I was thinking he was going to get with Rue but now I’m thinking he’s going to sleep with Jules or maybe both of them. Also, it’s refreshing to see a bi/pansexual male character who is completely comfortable with it.
 
Cassie puking in the pool...I mean, it was inevitable that she'd blow chunks after all the hardcore drinking she was doing, but still. Whenever I see someone on TV or a movie drinking a lot, I'm just wondering 'When are they gonna barf, because I know it's coming.'
 
Man, Eric Dane is killing it this season. Wow. That last scene with his family was heartbreaking and all kinds of ****ed up.

I have to admit I’m getting a little tired of Rue’s voiceovers about Jules and her hallucinations. It’s getting to the point where I feel like the writers and the director aren’t sure what to do with her and so it feels like they think they can fill time by doing a Terrence Malick impression. I hope it gets more interesting than “Jules is wonderful, I love Jules because I’ve always loved Jules. Did you know that I love Jules? Because I love Jules.” We get it.
 
Unrelated, but saw some folks on Twitter talking about the lack of Kat's presence compared to Season 1 and apparently the actress, Barbie Ferreira, had a bit of a falling out with creator Sam Levinson. To the point where she walked off set at one point. Now this is all based on sources and rumors, and Kat has had some screen time this season. So it's not like she's being written out.

At the same time, combined with Cassie's actress, Sydney Sweeney, asking Levinson to cut some of her nude scenes this season because they didn't make sense...it makes me wonder. Is the beef with Levinson, or does he just not jive with some of the cast?

Yeah I saw the thing about Kat too. It’s all “anonymous sources” claiming that she had a rift with the director but I have noticed that she’s been kinda sidelined this season. The article I read also mentioned how McKay has barely appeared and had some quotes by the actor indicating that he’s a bit bewildered by his lack of screen time.

I’ll have to see how the season plays out before I make a judgment; season 2 seems to be spotlighting certain characters that had smaller roles in season 1 (Cal, Lexi) while introducing some new ones (Elliot, that drugged up girl hanging at Fezco’s place). Sometimes when that happens, it’s hard to find places to fit in certain main characters. But I do think we could spend more time with Kat, McKay, Ethan, etc. than have yet another obscure hallucination/music montage of Rue’s or listen to her go on and on and on about how wonderful and perfect Jules is despite Jules cheating on her and ditching her at a train station last season.
 
Okay it's official, Eric Dane is definitely the MVP of this season so far. His scene at the bar and him going completely savage on his family towards the end were all pretty amazing scenes IMO.

I love that he's been getting so much character development this season and they've even done a decent job of actually making him somewhat sympathetic which I never thought could happen after how monstrous he was in Season 1.

I still can't get over how big of a mess Rue and Cassie have been this season though which is honestly getting a bit frustrating to watch but not in a bad way although Cassie needs to seriously get over Nate.

That scene in the hot tub had me dying though LMAO!!!!

Yeah that hot tub scene killed me hahahaha. Cassie really needs to get over Nate; dude is a sociopath and a slimeball who doesn’t give a crap about her.
 
I think it is Nate's unavailability that is pathologically appealing to Cassie. I feel sad for her.

Regarding Kat, I have been missing more scenes with her. If the actress had indeed a beef with the creator, I hope he doesn't punish the character. I think Kat is great.

And I don't know about you guys but I'm constantly worried about Rue overdosing. I mean, Zendaya has become such a big star that I am a little affraid she might move on.

Hope not.
