So no blood, sex, & cussing for this show! I had initially assumed they’d go the Samurai Jack route and just make it more mature in content. But I’m really okay with this as you tell great and mature stories without bloody violence.

We don't need sex in MOTU and especially in a cartoon. I just want a good show with stories that are told well. And barbarians using swear words doesn't even seem fitting but completely anachronistic.

Honestly, I said it as soon as he was cast, but Chris Wood's voice is perfect for He-Man, imo. I always thought he had a "cartoon hero" voice.

Could've gotten Melissa Benoist as Teela.

If this gets multiple seasons, I'll be shocked if she doesn't show up somewhere. Kevin Smith loves her.

Is this like the first family friendly thing Smith has done? As far as I can recall, he’s only ever done stuff aimed at adults with various F-bombs. It’s going to be weird watching a Smith project where people aren’t dropping the F-bombs left and right & smoking weed.

I cannot imagine Skeletor or He-Man dropping F-bombs. It would feel so out of place in their mouths. Why would a different planet and culture even have all that kind of specific vocabulary?
