Me to!

The more I see of this game, the higher it climbs my list of must haves next year.

Now this is the game that i will get first. Just like my First 360 game was mass effect, which this reminds me of a lot.

crazy graphics, not sure how much fun it'll be tho.

Hmm, so it seems like all of the characters will be investigating Ethan's son's abduction. I thought each character's story might take place at a different time in the Origami Killer's history.

That would be really cool, but no I think it'll come together with the scenes bouncing off of each other.

Yeah, I guess they would all have to be chasing the Origami Killer at the same time for the stories to weave together. We know Ethan and Madison meet up already, for one. Should be interesting to see how one character's death affects scenes that they would normally share with another character.

Yeah, to me that's where the real variety in the game seems like its gonna come in.

I'm sure I'll end up playing the game multiple times just to see what might've happened if I'd done various things differently.

I saw Indigo Prophecy over at at Gamestop the other day and was wondering if I should pick this up? I'm really looking forward to Heavy Ran and was hoping it could tide me over.

The developer walkthrough was very cool, this should be a very engaging game

Indigo Prophecy plays sort of like a proto-Heavy Rain and is fun in its own right, so I say go for it. Just don't let its final act get to you too much. ;)

Cool, I'll be sure to pick it up. What's with the final act?

Another fun game to tide you over might be Shadow of Destiny. I think it was one of the very early PS2 games. It's about a man that tries to change his fate, because he's destined to die. It involves time travel, for example changing something in the past so you don't get murdered in the future. It's a similar game in the sense that you can approach situations and events differently and have mutiple endings.

I believe Shadow of Destiny was actually a PS2 launch title. I have it but never played very far into it. It's from back when devs were working out the best control schemes and dual analogs weren't available to everyone, so the controls are fairly awkward. That's one of the easiest ways to make me lose interest in a game. I'll get around to it one day, though.

It's just weird and almost feels like it could've come from a different game, compared to the earlier acts. I won't get anymore specific than that because I don't want to color your perception too much. In spite of the weirdness, though, I still enjoyed the whole story.

For me it's different. When I find the premise of a game interesting and the story manages to captivate me, I'm willing to fight with the controls. That's how I endured Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness.

Funny thing though, Shadow of Destiny, or Shadows of Memories as it's called in Japan, is getting a re-release on the PSP.

Yeah, it's on PC as well. Maybe I'll try it on there, where I can re-map the controls how I like.

It was a fun experience. I loved to temper with the past, so things would fall into place for me in the present. Or preventing time and time again from getting killed, because fate just doesn't like me.

But at the end of it all, I still died.

I need to get a PS2 again. Or get this for PC. My PC is old, but luckily the game is older. So this should run just fine on it. I need to change my destiny.

The way he died sucked too. You've been on that epic adventure through time, think you've finally changed fate and then you die because of... because of... GAH! :cmad:

Man, now I really want to play that game. You've got me interested in it again.

Damn I been lookin for indigo prophecy everywhere, no stores seem to have it around my way :(

Ebay is your friend. If you've got an Xbox, you'll get a new sealed game for $3-4, not including shipping costs. The PS2 version is a bit more expensive, but used games still go for like $10. Brand new on PC goes for like $17.

Or you could just buy it through Xbox Originals on Live. I think all the games on that are $15.
