did anybody buy Ethan and Madison falling in love? maybe its just that ive never been accused of being a serial killer who kidnapped my own son and met a hot, insomniac journalist while i was on the run, but making out with her after being bandaged up seems a little forced so my first time through i denied her. its not really a problem for me though. he obviously wasnt getting anywhere with his ex-wife, and i like happy endings so ultimately i like them being together.

It made "movie sense" to me. I mean, I've seen enough narratives like Heavy Rain play out in movies to know that Madison, a beautiful woman, and Ethan, an attractive man, were interacting enough that they'd inevitably develop feelings for each other. I liked the idea of them together and I hated Ethan's vacuous non-entity of a wife, so I just went with it.

I wondered the first 2 times how Madison knew where the apartment was that Ethan did the Lizard trial and i just found out that she followed him there. Now that whole chapter makes sense

I just beat the game with this scenario that doesnt seem to make sense:

Jayden is killed by Shelby at the warehouse. Ethan saves Shaun but is killed by the police. Madison is alive. The news report states that the killer is still at large and that they still dont know his identity. Huh? With Madison and Shaun alive, shouldnt that have solved the case and a warrent out for Shelby's arrest? Even if the police didnt beleive Madison, Shaun is alive to back it up. This made even less sense bc her epilogue is still of her book signing and someone says it was a good thing that she was there to catch that bastard. What bastard? Shelby got off scott free. Lauren later figures out he is the killer and shoots him in cold blood

Ive heard 18 as well as 22 epilogues. Not sure of the exact number.

Im forcing myself to put this game down. I beat this game 4 times in a row but still have a couple of trophies and endings to unlock. I dont want to burn myself out bc this has been all Ive been playing for the past several days. I'll take a break and come back to it as it will still be somewhat fresh to me considering there are still some different choices and scenarios to play through.

I freaking love this game!

As far as catching him, is that in reference to the Origami killer or the doctor? I haven't played enough to get that ending, so I can't say for sure.

I assumed it was the killer since thats the main plot of her story. She has a bit of information against Scott which is enough to give the police a lead. I really cant see how Scott can go free if she survives

It's quite simple Havok, for as awesome a game as HR is, it's not as full-proof as it had promised. I had similar problems with a few endings. The game would need like another year in development to full achieve 100% consistency with every possible story bend I bet.

I think the only ending that did every really satisfy me was Ethan, alone with Shaun. The rest of them all felt off somehow, especially Jayden's showbiz one. He never wanted fame and fortune out of getting the Origiami killer, he was just doing his job.

One disappointing flaw in one of my endings was after seeing the one where Jayden dies, going back again, killing him again, then getting Ethan shot by the police so Blake and the police captain were suspended. I still got the same ending though. Dumb.

My biggest flaw with the game will always be how it just flat out lies to you about Shelby with his fake thoughts and cutting out parts of that scene. Really hurt the twist for me.

Personally I think Jayden was in a screwed up situation either way.

His method for solving the case involved making his eyes bleed, and an addiction to some drug that took away the pain. I think there's room for him to continue living, but using his current methods I couldn't see him living comfortably unless he gave up using ARI and the drug.

the only thing about that is Madison found his cop uniform and deduced thats how he lured in those children. i dont see him making a special case covering up for Shaun.

like other titles, to extend the life of the game. The DLC is to flesh out the characters. Theres alot of ways they can go with the DLC. With the questions the game left, this is one avenue to clarify and elaborate.
