Awrite, ive been into superhero cartoons and movies for as long as i remember but never really read the comics, i recently read ultimate spiderman the clone saga, and thought it was awesome, can anyone recomend some reading?

Starting out eh? Alright for some good background and initial interest pieces check out (Marvel only since it's a marvel board):

Spider-Man/Doc Ock Year One
Ultimates 1, 2
Iron Fist (last iron fist story, tpb)
Captian America (vol. 5)
Iron Man Director of SHIELD
Civil War
X-Men First Class

That should give you a pretty good taste of what's out there and what you'd like to read more of.

If you liked Ultimate Spider-Man's clone saga, then you'll absolutely love the volumes of Ultimate Spider-Man before it. Try looking for Vol. 1, and working your way back up.

Hey thanks alot, im gonna check out my "local" shop in the next couple of days, character wise, with regards to Marvel im really into spiderman and iron man.

I'd love to offer advice, but considering I stop reading Ultimate before the Clone Saga, and the Clone Saga convinced me I made the right decision, I don't think our tastes overlap enough. Though I can say that Kraven's Last Hunt is a must have.
