Help! Looking for a movie...(spoilers)

[Goshdarn Batman]

Many years ago, I watched a movie on TV. I want to see it again, but I can't remember the title or any of the actors. I don't remember all of it, but I'll try to write down some the plot:

- The movie starts with a woman visiting a store with her 2-4 year old son. I don't know what happens, but he disappears. His mother can't find him anywhere.

- Years later, a man shows up at the woman's door. He claims to be her son.

- Gradually, it becomes clear that the guy is a psycho.

- The guy kills the woman's boyfriend. He shoves him into the water, where he's trapped under the ice.

- At the end of the movie, the woman finds the psycho's book of drawings. There's gruesome pictures of him killing her.

- I don't know how it ended, but I think the woman killed her "son".

Maybe it's a crappy movie...maybe I would've hated it today, but I would be very happy if someone could help me

After all these years, I finally know the title...but it's not available on DVD! *rocks back and forth*
