That's cuz you're watching it on a small 28" screen. HD on my 40" 1080p sceen is orgasmic.

Actually, like Downhere said, it's a fact that even the most cutting edge HD plasmas and LCDs are still unable to produce the slick black levels and shadow detail of CRT HD sets and THAT is why the picture is lacking. My friend's Bravia X-series which I tested my 360 on was also 40".
