Actually, I was reading about this film on chud.com (without doubt, THE best movie site out there) a few days ago. Turns out it is pretty much a remake of Canibal Holocaust . . . down to re-creating the famous female impalement scene (you've obviously seen the original, so you KNOW what I'm talking about!).

What Hensleigh is going in this film and what type of money and time he was able to do it....... to the people who say that he shouldn't direct or write the next Punisher movie.... will never make any sense to me.

I actually read somewhere that Eli Roth convinced the original director to make a Cannibal Holocaust 2.

i read that it wasnt a remake of cannibal holocaust, but along the same lines. and if it where it would not due justice. Cannibal Holocaust is something else the director was put in jail when he first screened it because people thought it was all real.
