Here's what I posted earlier:

That's the best picture of this Hulk that I have seen. I like the design, but I still can't help but feel that I am looking at an incredibly detailed digital painting than something with actual flesh and bone. But then again magazine ads are usually photoshopped to hell.

I definitely think this is all CG, and I agree about mags but I'm thinking this may have been a promotional shot of the CGI used for the game and things. It looks very similar to the HULK screen shot from the game as far as angles and stuff. One of the action figure's looks very similar to that shot also.

Either way I'm VERY psyched now!

Oh and no more complaints about the hair... It looks perfect!

OMG that is the HULK!!!1the only thing i dont really like is his face(or facial expression)obviously from the trailer and empire pics his face does not look that way,but damn pants look great LOL,bullet holes tears and all.I knew the hulk would be more defined but damn, i mean look at his calf muscles,pecs and biseps,every time i see something new about TIH the more amped i am to finally see it

i think this is the CG model for the movie. this is a good render. plus there is tons of photoshop work done. i think the original render was more soft.

are you guys kidding me? i dont like this at all. his face looks weird and the bottom part of his stomach where is crotch is is completly flat. maybe its just me but i dont like this at all. usually on this board we rip apart things that dont look right, and to me this looks like crap, but everybody is praising it, i guess its just me, oh well to each his own everybody has an opinion..

Dude, that's because its a silly nutrition bar ad. Nobody is taking this super seriously. We just like the full view of the new hulk design. If this was a movie still, different story.

That's how the bottom ab muscles look when the upper torso is stretching up. Look at some body builders posing and see for yourself.

I especially love the detail in the arms. You can see all the ripples and viens. There must have been hours & hours of work on each inch of the hulk.

modeling a creature like that takes a lot of work and hours. i think they spend more then 1 month to model him.

For poster (for reasons I cant understand why) they alwasy photoshop a diff head pic on the body. They always look so unnatural.

IMO this face actually looks animated, whereas the other shots (most recent ones) show a more realistic looking face, it might be the ligting, the pose or something else but it just doesn't look right to me.

Nice promo pic. I'd like to see how a finished CGI full-body Hulk pic looks like, might have to wait a while for that though.

And dark_b, I remember you praising the Hulk/Blonsky Empire pic when it was scanned from the magazine, saying how the lighting and such looked perfect but when Empire released a hi-res pic you said the lighting looked off. Well today I got to look at the Empire magazine and looked at the Hulk/Blonsky pic and I can tell you it looks nothing like the pic Empire released online. It looks much like the scan that was posted. The lighting seems perfect in the magazine, Hulk's hair looks good, you can see a part of the top of Hulk's hair that is slightly coloured brown because light is shining on it but the clearer, lighter pic released by Empire online made the hair look very sticky and like clayish. I am not sure whether I believe the magazine pic or the online pic is how Hulk will look in the movie.

Ah gotcha. You still think it looked good in better quality but it looked better in the magazine scan. But trust me, when you see the pic in the magazine it looks a lot better than the hi-res pic posted by Empire online.


So what do you guys think? Is the magazine pic how Hulk is meant to look in terms of shading or is it meant to be like the clearer pic? Could it be that Empire did some editing of the pic from the magazine to and made Hulk brighter so he would stand out more?

Maybe someone who saw the Comic-Con footage can tell us if Hulk looked like the magazine scan or the pic posted online?

No guys, this is all CGI, heads perfect. This isn't a PS'ed head. Possibly other effects and what-not added with PhotoShop but the model is awesome! Anatomy - flawless. They wanted a straight shot of the HULK's face for promotional work I'm sure.

Yeah it is a CGI model but it probably had a lot of Photoshop work done to it aswell. So don't trust this as a movie render.
