I disagree If you see bodybuilders most of them don't have big hand or big feet and I can assure you they don't have weight balance problem. So saying that you need big and and big feet to support the weigh is not true.

Well, since this IS the cgi thread....

it is a manip. it's not really CG. basically what he does is, takes the cartoon, take real pictures and shape them into the pic. it has a video of how he did the jessica pic angie jolies pics and others.

Having seen it a second time I'll say that the Hulk himself worked for me lots more in the darkness of the night than under the sun. Darkness added the CGI a lot more of convincing realism. Daylight exposed some weaknesses unless it was in a shaky camera shot. But well, when he faces Blonsky before the chest-kicking, Hulk looked great.

By far my favourite scene from every point of view (CGI too of course) is the cave one. I wish it was longer.

The cave scene was also taken from the comics . I thought the effects witht the rain worked out quite well.

I prefer TIH's take on Hulk. He has the lumbering look of Boris Karloff's Frankenstein monster, the wild and crazy hair of Mr. Hyde, and the presence of a giant Glenn Langan. It's everything a cinematic Hulk should look like. My only gripe is that I thought he would've looked better in gray (the best shots, to me, were the ones where his skin looked gray). The most people can gripe about is the lack of purple pants, and I could care less; it's not an essential part of the Hulk.

The shot of him walking out of the fire was on par with anything WETA or ILM has done, honestly. I think it was just real inconsistent over the film, sadly.

There isn't a shot in TIH that beats ILM's best shots from five years ago. Not one.

so far all the threads ive been to that u comment on are negative, do u like this film at all? you either have really high expectations or just cant enjoy a movie.. the shot in the flames looked incredibly real, the shot in the cave looked incredibly real, the lion in narnia looked fake as hell so weta isnt perfect either.. some shots in the hulk how few there were to be honest was definitly on par with ilm or weta.. dont kid yourself..

Why don't you do us all a favor and stick to posting in the Ang Lee lovefest thread your posts are the same, it is getting old.

Don't be mad ... Ang Lee's HULK > The Incredible Crap

The look of him in the fire? Ok, I'll give you that one. The scene in the cave? Terrible. He looked hollow. And the scene right before that he is gliding on the river stream carrying Betty. The scene of him on the College Campus? TERRIBLE. The scene of him screaming? ATROCIOUS. The only great shots was at the start in the darkness. Right up until you see his silhoutte leave, then everything went to crap.

He looked hollow the whole movie. Terrible skin re-creation and muscle movements. Completely un-realistic and plausible. He wasn't believable for the entire movie. The only scene I can remember him slightly looking decent is when you see him walking towards Abomination at the end.

...Ang?....Ang, is that you? It is, isn't it?! :oldrazz:
Well Ang Lee has a career as a dominant intelligent movie maker, and is universally loved and respected by his peers. Louis Letterier is a ****** to who puts video game sequences on screen and says it's a film.

*snoring noises*

Intelligence implies sound judgment. Making a monstrous story about self-loathing and destruction into over two hours of introspection and convoluted daddy issues does not imply sound judgment. So the term "intelligence" would be a misnomer in this case. "A bungling" or "disastrous" would be a better way to describe how Ang Lee handled the source material.

"Bungling" is an adjective.

Neither option is complete. I left them wide open for the theoretical bashing people would continue from that starting point.
