Well Ang Lee has a career as a dominant intelligent movie maker, and is universally loved and respected by his peers. Louis Letterier is a ****** to who puts video game sequences on screen and says it's a film.
well i dont agree with the skin characteristics. but it could be that it changes when he becomes hulk. maybe hulks skin is more shiny.
i just personal find it better if hulks skin was more like human skin.
thats a really good explanation. If you look at the skin on your knee when the leg is bent you'll see the skin becomes shiny and looks asif the skin is wet or greasy. Now I'm no expert but to me it seems this is because the skin on the knee is stretched to its maximum. Apply this to the hulk, because of his massive growth from banner to hulk and the fact he's like 100% muscle it could be that his whole skin is stretched, resulting in this shiny effect. Personally it didn't both me that much in the movie and I thought the cgi was top notch for the majority of the film.
With the DVD/Blu-Ray already released in some places, the CGI quality can now be reviewed frame by frame if you will.
Just check out the CGI in this pic from the Blu-Ray

That is amazing CGI, no one can say that is poor.
And if you do think it is poor then just check out this quick colour fix that I did to give Hulk more caucasian skin. I know it isn't that good of a job (too much red) but it shows that the Hulk looks very realistic and it is the colour green that makes it so hard to make something look real.
