I was watching Unsolved History about DB Cooper. Here's some info about what he did. Long story short, he stole $200,000 and jumped out the back of a plane to escape. So, years later a guy tells his wife he is Cooper and then dies. She is all freaking out now because she thinks it's a horrible thing.

This is the question.
Would you freak out if you found out your significant other had done something criminal in his distant past? Mind you, no one was hurt in Cooper's escapade and all he got away with was money.

I wouldn't care at all. I'd just ask for some of the money :o:up:

I proberbly would depending on how bad the crime. Id proberbly forgive her if it was stealing money .

I think I would feel totally deceived and disappointed that they didn't feel they could trust me enough to tell me. It also really depends on what they did.

Meh. I hang out with people who steal all the time. :o

nope. wouldn't care.

Yeah, see, I don't think I'd care much either. I'd be sort of pissed he didn't share the money, but it was like 30 years ago or something. I don't think it would matter all that much to me. I just wanted to know if I had bad morals or something

Heh, this story was incorporated into the show, Prison Break. Was it ever validated if the guy was Cooper?

If she had done what Cooper did, then no, I wouldn't freak out per se. I'd be shocked, but ultimately I'd find it real hot. Dangerous girls are awesome. :O

Plus it doesn't help that you're tons richer. Not exactly gonna break up with her for that. :oldrazz:

It depends what type of criminal activity and whether they would risk doing it again, or get me involved.

If it endangered my life, my love life and possibly just my social status, than I really wouldn't like to get involved.

But hey, we all know people that have dabbled in crime. How big or how small really depends with the type of people you hang around with. But none of us can say we've NEVER broken a law.
