My dumb teacher said it was part time, and they get paid between 12,000 and 18,000. Teachers also think they don't get paid much. This one was not very bright.

Mayor is part time, not full time. I'll do some research and find out. I could be wrong.

Not in any City I know of. Last I heard Bostons mayor was making $150,000 a year and that was a few years ago.

Yeah, I just looked up "mayor salary" in Google and saw numbers ranging from $60,000 to the $100,000's. Elected officials have pretty lucrative positions from everything I've heard.

Hell, CITY COUNCILMEN in New York get $90,000.

They never really touched on Hawkman's relationship with Daniel, presumably because he never really had one. Daniel did take an intense (for him, anyway) personal interest in his parents, though. He intervened on a couple of occasions to ensure their happiness, and then he finally gave them safe haven in the Dreaming after they got trapped in the dimension within the helm of Nabu.

True. I'm just saying, being Daniel's grandfather gives him an in with the cosmic forces of the DCU that a writer could use somewhere down the line.

He's not a billionaire anymore, is he? Ollie gave all his money to charity and is now living on his mayor salary. Granted, mayors probably still get paid a lot.
