i am a Heroes fan. my football team is on monday night. its the heroes mid-seanson finale. theres only 3 damned games left in the ****ing football season. my tape recorder is broken. what should i do?

Who's playing Moday night? The Monday games have been really sucky this year. Add to that the trifecta of suck that is the announcing team, and you're left with a...lot of suckage.


Heroes at least has Sylar killing people on their Birthdays then taking their cake.

Heroes is a poorly-written, poorly-acted travesty which is only successful because it has managed to plagiarize every popular superhero and sci-fi franchise, and therefore resonates with comic fanboys.

Football is b.o.r.i.n.g. and way too long for me to maintain interest.

And even though my opinion on those two options isn't relevant to the question, I will suggest that you-- like myself-- watch neither. Then you won't have to play "favorites" and will feel equally guilty about missing both.

Besides, you can get the score online moments after the game finishes, and I'm sure you can find a plot synopsis of all the episodes of Heroes you'll miss.

If it was a matchup of two teams to which you were ambivalent, I'd say Heroes. Since it is your team, however, your fandom should take center stage.
