Heroes "tentatively" renewed for next season

If Rebel's identity weren't the most obvious thing in TV history, you may have a point.

Keep in mind guys, The Sarah Connor Chronicles was renewed for next year last fall, now it is likely going to be canceled. Arrested Development was renewed for 2 seasons weeks before it's cancelation. A studio can pull the plug at any time. My guess is they will give Fueller until fall sweeps to put the show back together and then it will be canceled to give one of their newer shows that is struggling a better time slot and a better chance to gain an audience. The thing about serials, is that once they lose an audience, they very seldom get it back as it is hard to jump back into the ever continuing plot. I can't see this show recovering its viewers...so...I'm guessing it is gone before Volume 6.

I'm interested... who do you think (or know as you imply) is Rebel?
I have my own suspicions, but I don't think it's obvious.

Tell us now, so when Rebel is revealed we can see if you were right or wrong.

Unless they are planning to bring in another character who can communicate with technology, it's obviously Micah.

Well, that's my thought as well. It makes sense, considering the level of electronic infiltration that we have seen. I don't think it's obvious to everyone though.

I've heard that some people on the forums are actually skeptical of that theory, so that would imply that Rebel's identity is still somewhat ambiguous.

Oh also... a friend reminded me about a character that was briefly shown at the end of season 1 when Sprague (the nuclear guy) was getting instant messages in the middle of desert.

I think it's unlikely they'd bring in some barely known character from S1, but it's still an interesting point.

Her name was Hana, and she's dead.

getting better getting better

Doesnt Hanas essence basically live in cyberspace now?

She and Drucker (another person with the same powers as her) were using their cyberforms to hack into The Company files, when Bob found out he destroyed the The Companys computer system with Hana and Drucker still inside, killing them.

hmmm, was this in one of the side stories? i don't remember that at all.

My thought as well. Though I think Granny Uhura may be the real mastermind behind it.

I has plans on watching this chapter of "Fugitives" but because 24 has been great this year, I haven't been able to watch Heroes except for online. I did miss the last two episodes, which I need to catch up on.

i just need to watch the latest, it's getting slowly better..i think?

^^I'm enjoying it. Judging by the previews for the next ep, it should be good.

i'm clueless as to who rebel is, but apparently it's well known who it is
basically.. i'm dumb

Some people suspect it's Micah, who can control technology...others, like myself, have posited that it may be a group of rebels, not only Micah.

i wondered where he was, i'd be kinda disappointed if it was him.

probably round about half

Interesting. Never the less, just because NBC puts in the order for 18-20 episodes does not mean they cannot shut it down whenever they please. NBC does not need to let them complete the order. My guess is, they will see if Fueller can turn things around, if not, let them complete volume 5 and then pull the plug. Also, my guess is Kring will be fired over the summer and Fueller will become the show runner.

We can live in hope.
