Heroes vs. Smallville....which do you prefer?

I like both shows, but I definatly prefer Heroes.

Smallville was as good as Heroes for like the first 4 seasons, but now Heroes beats Smallville by a landslide. Let's just hope this Green Arrow/Young Justice League thing makes the show better.

Well comparing the first 5 episodes of each, Heroes by a landslide. Which is really all you can compare right now. However, it's not really fair to compare them, Heroes has a much larger scope than Smallville. I doubt Heroes will ever use the freak of the week scenerio that Smallville all too often relies on. Heroes is a cliche-ridden piece of crap. I gave it three whole episodes, and wasn't compelled once (well, maybe the autopsy shot).

Smallville is cheesy as hell, but the storylines are more interesting, and I've loved Superman since I was a kid, so it wins.

to be fair, heroes does have a bigger budget then smallville, and it doesnt have all the restrictions placed on it by a parent company that SV has.
