Heroic Age

If you were a mutant i'd bet you'd say different. lol

I'm on the boat for seeing Emma being killed off. I couldn't stand that aspect of Morrison's run and I've not liked it since. All these years and I still can't stand her or her relationship with Cyclops. Get rid of her. Turn her evil. Kill her off. I don't care, just get her out of the X-Men.

Oh no he can't be killed off! Just lighten up a bit. And to be honest, the only thing he's done that I don't really approve of is X-Force. If not for that then I'd say he's been pretty awesome.

Highly unlikely that Emma dies. She's now a hugely popular character, and is starting to branch out into other media; she's also a clear writer favourite.

I don't have strong feelings about Emma either way. She's just sort of there.

Truth be told, I still prefer him and Emma to him and Jean.

Yea, blasphemy...I know.

No, I agree. Their relationship is more dynamic; has more rough edges to it. Scott/Jean I liked too, but it plays really easily into saccharine or soap-opera elements.

I also like Emma's interactions with other charcters. Epsecially her and Kitty. Emma's a ***** and I love it. One my favorite lines of hers is, " I can turn into a diamond. I am by definition my own best friend". ****ing love it.

That's me, I just find them much more interesting than he and Jean ever were.

Jean and Scott is boring so when she returns (probably this year). She needs to stay far away from Scott.

Emma's a far more interesting and complex than Jean. I like her being on the X-Men. And she's been good long before Morrison's run on the book. She really genuinely started to turn her ass around during the Generation X years and love those kids.

Emma I think brings less baggage to the relationship. No god powers or wandering eyes toward a canadian. It also has character development. She lets down her defenses but still be Emma Frost. Also until Scott is no longer burdened with the fate of mutants, he needs to act the way he does to keep most of them alive. The Heroic age should lighten him up since I doubt the Shield and co will try to start anything.

The way she is written, cold hearted ice princess Emma Frost is madly in love with Scott, while Jean... she was used to having him around. She "settled" for him. They were like one of those real life couples that been together forever (since high school), and you just know the woman will go crazy before her 30's and start ****ing other guys. That's why it's a bad move to marry your high school sweetheart. You gotta leave time to live out urges. :)

That is the greatest line ever. I love new Emma.

Mine is the line to Beast about how she has the best body money can by yet she still rates below a corpse.

Let's be honest. Although I personally felt it ran too many issues an arc, Astonishing had some of the greatest character moments. Story? maybe not, but even the greatest story can bore the holy ***** out of me if I want to stab all the characters within it.

And the Beast/Wolvie fight is still awesome in my eyes. It wasn't until that moment that I ever pictured Hank and Logan in a fight, and Hank possibly winning.

Emma's relationship with Cyke gave him a new personality and allowed him to move on with his life and progress, which is something very few comic characters actually go through these days. Having Jean around is just going to give us the same old love triangle mess between Cyke, Logan and Jean that is just played out at this point.

I love Jean. But I love Scott and Emma more. There, I said it! (bring Jean back, tho)

No! keep Jean dead for the love of god.

A new personality that consisted of forming wetworks squads and making out with an evil ***** over the grave of his dead soul mate.

I'm pretty sure there are places that Cyke's character can go without selling his soul.

No! keep Jean dead for the love of god.

That's like asking the Hulk not to smash.

:thing: :doom: :thing:

Emma hasn't been an evil ***** since like 95. Plus I love how Jean fans tend to forget it was she who pushed him into the relationship with Emma.

The reason people feel Scott and Emma are better than Scott and Jean is because Scott/Emma are being written as a modern couple while Scott/Jean were written as a typical comic book couple.

How do the words "live your life" translate into make out with my rival at my grave????

Reason why Jean fans get in such a tissy is because everyone feels she should stay dead because of Scott/Emma...like her only purpose is to be Scott's wife/GF
