We now have a lot more information on the premise and characters of each title. Below is a quick summary of each:

Avengers - Bendis, Romita Jr.
Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Hawkeye, Spider-Woman, Spider-Man, Wolverine
Possibly Noh-Varr, Mockingbird
Based in Avengers Tower

New Avengers - Bendis, Immonen
Luke Cage, Jewel, Ms Marvel, Wolverine, Spider-Man, Thing
Possibly Noh-Varr, Mockingbird, Iron Fist, Dr Strange
Based in Avengers Mansion

Secret Avengers - Brubaker, Deodato
Steve Rogers, Sharon Carter, Valkyrie, War Machine, Beast, Nova, Moon Knight, Black Widow, Ant-Man

Avengers Academy - Gage, McKone
Hank Pym, Justice, Tigra, Quicksilver, Speedball (teachers)
Reptil, Hazmat, Finesse, Fortress, Striker, Veil (students)

So which of these first issues will you be giving a shot when they're released?

EDIT: I meant to add a poll but forgot. Oops.

Will definitely be buying Secret Avengers.

Probably not any of the others, but I may yet pick up the first issue of Avengers just to see what's up.

Secret Avengers. The fact Moon Knight, Beast and War Machine are on the team is a main reason I want to buy it.
Not a fan of bendis so I'll be staying far away from his books.

I'm going to give all of their first arcs a read and see if they are going to be worth collecting as trades. Although I'm really intersted in Secret Avengers for Nova and Moon Knight.

Same here.Secret Avengers is the only one I'm excited about.

Also Secret Avengers, with it's wacky line-up makes me remember West Coast Avengers. Which people always joke about, but I loved that book. Whenever I find back issues I get excited. Fun read it was.

Secret Avengers is the must have book for me. I'm counting the days until issue one like I'm counting the days until the Avengers movie. The rest I'll all check out their first arcs and then see where I'm at. I will probably end up with just SA and Avengers. I'm really looking forward to the new direction of Thunderbolts, so NA and Academy might lose out.

SA's lineup may be "wacky" but it's an all star list of fan faves at the moment. The real strength (and the edge it has over the other books) is it's creativity. Brubaker's got a solid idea of what this book is about, it's direction and how to make it work with the characters solo books. Plus he's doing the key thing....RESEARCHING their history on the Defenders and such.

I wish I could just get "one" book, because more than that would seem like too much money... but I'll probably get the 3 basic Avengers' books minus the Academy one, which sounds too boring to me...

About the only one I see myself buying is Avengers Academy. Secret Avengers is a big maybe, but I'm still not totally sold on it. I've not enjoyed Bendis' Avengers work, and I still have a lot of skepticism about how heroic this 'Heroic Age' is going to end up being.

I'll probably wait for reviews and word of mouth and trade wait his books

If I hear good things about Bendis run, I might buy the trade. The store I go to always have his trades/Hard covers in the $5 bin.

The store I go to usually only has DC/Vertigo/Milestone in the $5 bin. And thankfully so.

"SA" for sure. I've been wanting to see Brubaker with an Avengers book for a while, and the line-up seems fantastic. I'll give "Academy" a chance for Hank Pym, though they need to really sell me on those new characters. Don't know how I feel about the other two titles, since I'm not in any way a Bendis fan, though I may check out the first issues of each. "Avengers" having JRJR on art, plus Thor and Hawkeye, makes me want to at least give it a shot.

SA, definately. Beast, War Machine, Moon Knight, Nova, Valkyrie and Black Widow in the same team is something I can't pass up.

I'd like to know what happened to the announcement regarding Dan Slott. Marvel said they had a plan for him, but options are running out.

Most likely none. Secret Avengers is the only one I have enough interest in to buy monthly (though all of them could be potential trade buys), but I won't buy $3.99 books without back-up stories.

Here's a Djurdevic poster that's going to be divided into variants for the various books:

Definitely getting Avengers and Avengers Academy for the foreseeable future. Secret Avengers I'm giving an arc to see whether it's worth continuing with or not. New Avengers doesn't interest me at all, so I'm not buying that.

Secret Avengers sounds pretty awesome... i mean, nova + moon knight? :)

I gotta admit I like the lineups for every book, so I'm willing to give them all a try for a while.

Avengers and Secret Avengers.

Wait...Spidey and Wolvie are in two teams...wha????

Avengers and Secret Avengers. Might give the Academy a go too... as long as it doesn't become X-Men like and the students aren't as annoying as those screwy X kids running around.

Well they were both revealed as New Avengers in the teasers, but then both were shown on the covers to Avengers #1 and #2 as well. Weird.
