It sounds like they could use this 2 just turn the Mutant characters into Inhumans. Which should then allow Disney 2 use these characters in their movies legally & in the MCU they will be Inhumans & since fox does not have the Inhumans rights they will be screwed. Its a diabolically awesome plan if you ask me

Except there was report the inhuman film name rights are original inhumns characters are part of FF film characters.

They may turn Quicksilver and scarlet witch In inhumans or whatever but i can see them just dropping rest of "mutants" In Marvel universe.They are killing
off wolverine and may kill off deadpool.

Disney tries to use any mutant characters that aren't Quicksilver and Scarlet witch are there is bound to be lawsuits filled.

I don't like any of this.And marvel tried to claim with straight face that film rights have nothing to do with what happenes In comics

If anything turning mutant characters into Inhumans would allowed them 2 be shared. Just like Quicksilver & Scarlett. Both studios will be able 2 use these characters. If not then at the very least fox wont be able 2 use future stories & characters & Disney will just kill off the X-Men after the Fantastic Four. I would rather MARVEL just kill everyone off they dont own for movie use. Instead of changing everything 2 spite fox. No no no, I am almost 100% certain that mutants are mutants, the only reason that SW and QS are usable is due to the fact they were between both teams so much at the time the rights were given to fox. Marvel would have to make completely new characters that resembled the x-men if they wished to use them in their cinematic universe, but then fox would probably sue for infringement with having too similar characters and it would cause more problems than worth.

Except it won't work. They sold the X-Men that means they can't use them or the term Mutants.

It'd be like someone selling a patent to an invention then adding a lightbulb, calling it something else and manufacturing it for sale. They'd be rightfully sued

If they butcher the X-Men legacy to try this petty underhanded tactic all they'll be left with is damage to their own comic franchise.

They need to accept their own mistakes in selling their biggest franchise and move on.

Untill the sucess of X-Men and Spider-man films marvel had no choice but to make
deals with other studios.They got the loans to be their own studio for Iron Man and Incredible Hulk.

It's only after DIsney brought Marvel that the deals that gave marvel money due to incomptent Corporate management In early 1990's,deal that helped when they were In
Bankruptcy protection,and Fox and sony reviving and exploding the genre that the deals
become terrable and evil.

It's just a terrable state of affairs.

I can totally see them turning quicksilver and Scarlet witch Into Inhumans or miracles.And retconning their orign where Magneto Isn't their father.

There are people on twitter who think The FF would be better off at MS but like X-Men films aren't happy with the moves of cancling FF comics and poential stop selling X_Men titles.

Cancelling the comics won't hurt those movies in the slightest. It's really a pointless and petty tactic that only hurts the fans
