High School=hell

I won't be like that guy. Nothing to miss in high school.

Man, let me tell you something. I came from an inner city high school, where pretty much anyone in my group was messed with, if not by the students, then by the faculty [we kinda stood out]. We were taught half-assed by a lot of teachers and to this day I'm paying for it. But if I could go back and do it all over again, well, you can bet your Will Smith inspired new name that I'd be a freshman again faster than Paris Hilton puts out. You think it's really bad now, and it's not. You think things are so different, but it isn't. You're going to find that when you get out of school, you're going to miss some of the same things you hate right now.

Well thats good for you but all seriousness i will not miss high school. I went to 3 different high schools in the last 3 years. This upcoming year will be my first back to back school year in my high school career.

By the way reason i switched was cause of tuititon problems and also another was because the second school i went too was terrible. But anyways i'm not gonnam iss nothing. Nothing to miss. School became boring and lame. All i care for now is the education. Nothing esle. Will not miss high school.

In my experience it's the people who always got picked on that hated high school

I graduated in June. Didn't really like high school, wouldn't say I hated it but I didn't care for it, though I can totally see myself missing it soon.

I shoulda graduated in 02. I was to hardcore though I was allready in an alternative school and I got kicked outta it cuz I went to school robotripping my balls off everyday for like 3 months straight and had a drug-induced psychotic episode thought I had powers and was like the second coming and all types of crazy ****. And of course considering I was psychotic at the time I was letting everyone in on the secrets to life and what happens after you die and lots of other things lmao. Got my GED though and everyone know that stands for Good Enough Diploma

The ****? What happened to you? Let me guess you dated the weird emo chicks?

High School was brilliant.

My parents always used to say "You'll miss your school days when you get older." I used to say "No chance".

You know what? They were right! :D

We didn't have emo in high school. We had goth, which is the same in a lot of ways, but usually instead of crying, they'll try to curbstomp you. Often they'd fail.

Academically speeking, high school had the easiest school work out of all the different grade levels.

The only thing I regret about high school is how much I didn't say about/to other people, far too many things left unsaid, positive or negative.

Never got picked on in high school or anything too severe, just extremely disliked the negative atmosphere of the place, the bit*hing teachers, the budget cuts, the students who were always crying "poor me, and school sucks".

Yeah, I had a crush on a girl that, looking back, probably really wanted to know me better, but our social groups never really meshed, so we didn't interact much. She was the cheerleader, and I was, well, me.

There were a few times we interacted, but truth be told, I was nervous as hell. One time, I'll never forget it. It was cold out, so the cheerleaders were doing their practice upstairs, where we wrestlers usually had our practice. We were doing our whistle drills [coach blows the whistle X times, and we do X activity, Y for Y and so on], and we ended up finishing off with pull-ups. The girls finished their practice, and they wanted to do some too. She ended up coming to me asking me to help her with them. My arms were already sore as hell thanks to just doing 40 pull ups, and combined 150 pushups, but you can bet your black-clad ass that I made sure to hold her waist tight as she was doing her pull ups.

Yeah, I sucked, but I did it. I went between 125-145 depending on if I wore my leg when I weighed in, though I'd go as far down as 119.

For me, the greatest day of High School was the last day. Because it was finally over.

What is this American History X? When did you people go to high school anyways? 90s? 80s?
