Transformers Holy ****!!!i got an e-mail from Don Murphy

Do you come to the Transformer boards just to promote hate against anything resembling any prior incarnation of Transformers non-movie related or are you really that much of a Bay fan? Seriously, because whenever anybody mentions ANYTHING non-Transformer movie related you pretty much call it, "old 80s crap".

He's an alright guy when he takes his Xanax.
But, yeah, for the most part, he just hates Transformers- period. Wants just to see "big robots fighting" is all.

If Christopher Lee were in it, his head might just explode with joy.

Of course he hates the 80s, he was born at the end of them and has no idea how cool it was to be a kid back then. And seeing how they've butchered my favorite toy of all time, I shudder to think what will happen to GI Joe, Thundercats, He-Man, MASK, etc. if they decide to give them the new-age feature-film treatment.

Your bio says you were born in 1989. I said you weren't a kid in the 80s. I'm right, you're wrong. Unless you don't even know your own birthdate, which in that case you are more lost than I thought.

just because i was i was born 3 or four years after TF doesnt mean i was only watching power rangers..........you say it like the 80's were the only "cool" time for kids....

Actually Power Rangers (american) the sentai(japanese) series originated in 1975. It actually looks better than the american one lol.

I just had to say that. I discovered that today. lol

Bumblebee has been depicted very inconsistently in terms of his size, sometimes being as tall as other small Autobots, other times barely taller than a human. In his only official measurement, given in one of the early issues of the Marvel Comics, Bumblebee is said to stand 15 feet tall in robot mode. The toy of Bumblebee is about 5 cm long, whereas a real Volkswagen Beetle is 406 cm (13.32 feet) long, implying a scale of 1:81. With a robot mode height of 8 centimeters, Bumblebee should stand about 648 cm (or 21.3 feet) tall.

Of course, that's when he's a beetle. Which he's not in the movie.

His exact size may be a bit inconsistent, but he was never taller than Jazz, and that's why people are griping. Bumblebee is supposed to be the underdog, "little brother" Transformer. Being taller than Optimus' right hand man doesn't really convey that.

lets all go to the don murphy boards and register as SHH#(and your number) and ***** like crazy at his unprofessionalism.....

ill do it if you do.:D

im just crazy........and wouldnt it be cool to bich?

Good point. When some people delve into the details a little bit too much they sometimes miss the main point...which you've so kindly put into plain english for everyone to absorb.

Glad someone understands it.

People don't care about details anymore, all they want to see is the big overall picture. That's whats wrong with moviegoers these days. Details are such a simple little thing to add and often they can make the difference between good and great. This movie will likely be good and entertaining, but not great. I shure love my movie details!

Actually the early 80's sucked ass. It wasn't until TF came around and taught all the other shows how it's done (including lame ass G.I. Joe... which was consistently shown up by the BRILLIANT comic book).

BUT, then!!!!....
TMNT showed EVERYBODY (cartoon AND comic book kids... including TF guys) just what good writing was all about. The little kiddie world has been struggling to recover since (they almost succeeded with Gargoyles.... but didn't actually achieve anything IMHO until Teen Titans).

You're generation is actually vapid... born into the crap that is Power Rangers and Pokemon. And, while my daughter (born in circa 1999) loves Pokemon (I dunno why).... she at least also loves Teen Titans and the original Transformers (believe it or not). So there's hope for your generation yet (yes, I lump you into my 7 yr old daughters generation.... because, well, you sound like you should be).

I was born in '86 but Transformers G1 was around even after I'd grown into a kid. I remember watching it (and hiring videos) and being around when the original figures were still in stores. They were very popular, so you didn't necessarily need to be a kid in the 80's to enjoy them. It leaked over to the 90's a bit as well.
