I was looking into songs that represent my own hometown (city), or songs that have been adopted by the town as a sort of anthem in some capacity for some research I'm doing. Thought it would be interesting to hear if anyone elses towns or cities have such songs and if so what are they?

Here's one from my city, Swansea.

I'm from NY, there are tons of 'em. Sinatra's " New York, NY," Ace Frehley's "Back In The New York Groove," and The Ramones "Rockaway Beach" come to mind

lol, anyone from Toronto will get it.

Hopefully. :o

I'm sure you guys have heard of Afroman who sings "Because I got High..." Well he also came up with our basically anthem "Palmdale" which everyone in this damn city knows by heart, and I love it :D
