How was work today? It was pretty dead today actually. Normally Friday's at the theater are generally busy with new movies being released. But the movies that were released today weren't and aren't that good to begin with.

I'm a doorman/Usher and my job is to tear tickets, clean the lobby, clean theaters, and sometimes help move films to different projectors. It's a lot of standing around, moving around, and so forth. You stand on your feet for about 5 to 6 hours, sometimes 7 hours. I also got trained in the box office today so hopefully they move me there at some point, which means I can rest my knees, feet, and back.

The next three weeks will be hell in terms of working though. We Own The Night, 30 Days of Night, and Saw 4 are going to bring in a ****load of people.

Work today was somewhat steady/busy. This movie release week really didn't produce any significant big time releases or anything, so imagine my surprise when I saw the amount of people come to the theater today.

Overall it wasn't bad. It gave me something to do other than stand around tearing tickets and not cleaning anything due to lack of people. It helped the time go by a lot faster too. I will say I find it hysterical how my parents try to downplay my job and say it's not hard.

Granted, it's not rocket science, but cleaning up after grown adults, kids, moving movies that come in cans(which are heavy I might add), and just today we had to clean out a theater due to new seats being placed inside the auditorium and the new seats were dusty, had gum on them, and my co worker and I had to do some intense scrubbing to get them cleaned.

So this week has been a busy week and going to school adds to the busy prospect as well.

I was going to say how much I love my new job. Tons of cute guys running around, lots of sexy, big job with lots of work to do. Lunch was bought for us, catered and we got to leave early, had a half day yesterday as well. I'm right behind my apartments, I could hop the the fence if it wasn't federal property and I wasn't afraid of getting my ass shot.


But it's all changed once I called the office to get them to send employment verification to my lender. Why the **** are they saying I don't exist, how the **** have they not gotten any paperwork on me? I've been working there three days, so what I'm not getting paid? the woman I talked to sounded like a royal ****, she really could give a flying **** and it shows, *****. *sprouts more gray hair*
Now I have no idea how far back my ****ing settlements going to be, *******s. I'm so tired and stressed out. Ugh.

Someone is not telling the truth. My foreman said they told him that they would send the fax right away and now they're saying I don't exist. I hate being at their mercy and I am and they know it.

I think I'm going to take a nap, it's too much.

Works fine, I'm receiving a million dollar shipment. It's taken me 8 hours, but I'll be done before 6. Tomorrow I have to write a Half mil in PO's to some of our vendors. . But that's a day at the office

actually not...it's gotten much worse. but at least I've gotten used to the new store. Still...I'd sometimes feel like quitting it.

not quite..alltough I do have to stay 'till 4am some weekends, I'm just not getting enough sleep between studying and working... and I think I'm kinda getting used to it... which is worse
