Love these shots. This is looking really good, beyond the comedy/novelty value of just Driver/horror/dinosaurs thrown together.
Saw this today and I actually enjoyed it quite a bit and while I don't think its nearly as bad as the critic reviews suggest its unfortunately still a pretty forgettable film at the end of the day which makes it even more frustrating.
Honestly, I was expecting so much more from this after that awesome first trailer and it just didn't live up to that all, especially when it comes to the dino action which they cut away from way too much IMO.
That really annoyed the heck out of me in this and I also didn't like how small and contained this movie felt throughout despite the fact that the scope of this is pretty grand, but it never feels like it.
Adam Driver and Ariana Greenblatt are really solid though and have some great little bonding scenes together, but sadly given the final product this definitely could have been a film made for streaming. It's a decent/passable timewaster at best which isn't the worst thing, but it should have been a lot better.
Woods. During the interview we asked the duo if they have any plans to flesh out their universe with a sequel and their answer is pretty open-ended. "I'll say this, we've gotten far enough as to go 'Alright. Would it be called 64 or 66?'" So, it seems that we'll just have to wait and see if 65 will get a sequel.
Ah man if you didn’t think much of it buddy I doubt I will as our tastes align quite a bit with movies. Is it worth a watch still would you say? At the cinema I mean.
If you really want to see it than I'd recommend going to the cheapest matinee you can find. Honestly, I think its at least worth a one-time watch because I don't see myself ever watching it again although IMO it was still better than sitting through Jurassic World: Dominion which I know isn't saying much but its something I guess.
$45 millionWhat was the budget for this does anyone know?
$45 million
Boxoffice is currently at $40 million worldwide.
Reportedly $91M — with tax credits bringing the net cost down to $45M. Some, however, have questioned whether a tax credit would be quite that generous (i.e., 50%).What was the budget for this does anyone know?
Ah that sucks to hear, was hoping this was going to be an awesome guilty pleasure at least.
