If they keep dressing up Krista in those outfits, well, aside from missing a lot of Blade-fu...thats one thing thats got me tuning in every week. Are they dressing her up or down?

It seems like they've completely lost focus of the show. I don't mind though. Blade could disappear and I'd still be watching just for Krista. Quite frankly she's alot more interesting.

Yeah, they could replace 'Sticky' with a cardboard cutout and I don't think anyone would really care or even notice.

I'd notice, but I wouldn't really care. Krista is much more interesting. Surprisingly so, in fact, given how little I liked her after the pilot.

They do give Krista a lot of screen time....I'm not complaining she's hot. :)

They give her too much screen time. Yeah she's VERY hot, and I'm glad she's on the show, but she should never be the main focus of the show, and the writers are taking the series that way.

Sticky REALLY needs to step it up a notch.

I think they're deliberately focusing the story on Krista at the moment to keep Blade's mystique up. Whether that's necessary or not is subjective, but given what I've seen of Sticky's performance so far, I don't mind it.

I disagree with that. I like looking at Jill as much as anyone, but I think the show is getting better with each episode. Kirk is growing into the role, and the fight scenes are improving. I like what I am seeing so far. :)

Finally got a chance to see the first four episodes. Though Krista's character is getting a lion's share of the screentime, I like that Blade is calling the shots. I also like the Batman-like appearances and disappearances.

In the fourth ep., it finally felt like I was seeing the Blade from the movies on the screen in how Sticky handled a pack of vamps more easily than before.

Hopefully once Krista is established, Blade will get more focus, along with Shen. Neither Krista or Shen should get more development than Blade by the time this series is over.

Sticky does need to bring his A game. Last week's episode was one of the better ones so far. When I first watched the series I didn't expect Krista to actually be a double agent on the inside of the vampire organization. I kind of expected her to fight alongside Blade and Shen. I do hope it gets to that point. But whenever they show aspects of the vampire culture Krista is usually around because she is a double agent trying to get info. I think that is one of the main reason she gets a lot of screen time. I hope tonight's episodes delivers the good.

There are certain angles that work for her and certain angles that do not, that nake her look...uhm... butch.:) Best outfit so far is the black dress she had right after being turned.

why couldn't they show her butt last episode... well all want it, she wants to give it.... show it!

I don't like it when Krista trys to act hard like when she was talking to Shen last night, or Blade in the last weeks episode. You can tell that she's faking it (the actress playing her that is). It doesn't look real.

Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of the army angle they gave her. It would've been much better if she were forced to learn to be a tough chick as a vampire, since that would allow us to follow her path towards it and accept her better. She doesn't really strike me as the badass right now.

The point was that her brother was the real sissy and she was the tough one. :) Actually them being twins is kinda funny. Reminds me of Melaka Fray and her twin brother, how they inherited different things from the Slayer legacy.

Gosh I'm curious if anybody knows what I'm talking about. :)

I loved the Fray mini-series. I hope Whedon continues it at some point.

I'd love to see him revisit the character. That miniseries was great, except for taking over two years to come out!

okay, well you must be the only guy who doesn't want to see Jill Wanger aka, Mercery Girl, naked...............

They can legally show it but the cable networks are scared stiff of the religious right. Funny how abc has done it for years and they're on regular tv.

You mean Spike is scared of the religious right. FX is breaking every damn rule in the book. They've had frontal nudity from the waist up on The Shield.

No they (the Shield) haven't...nudity from the waist up?...backside yeah, and so does Nip Tuck...Nip Tuck shows even more than the Shield.

Theyll probably kill krista off once this the house is defeated since there wont be any reason to keep a good vampire on when you have a perfectly good blade.

I think it might be neat if Krista became a major adversary for Blade in S2. It could lead to some great drama and interplay, with Blade perhaps being slowed by his feelings of guilt for getting Krista wrapped up in the vampire world.

So far, the Blade movies haven't done a great job with female adversaries for Blade. This could be an area that the TV show could one-up the movies on.
