Hot Toys MMS DX 02 - TDK Batman announced!!!

I just received news that the next MMS DX figure will be The Dark Knight version of Batman. According to the translator of the depicted article below, there isn’t anything definitive about the figure yet; however it will have new accessories.

Hopefully, in a few days, there will be some more info and picture soon in regards to the topic.

Hopefully he has a fabric/mesh "undersuit" and the armored plates are made out of resin, just like his "Bat-Bra" on the first TDK Suit Batman action figure.

By straying away from the rubber suit they will be able to throw in a velvet/flocked cape. I always wondered why it was so had to get a hold of cheap faux-velvet to slap on for the cape.

Speaking of capes; Wouldn't it be a nice touch if they threw in the collapsed "backpack" cape he had on the roof top in Hong Kong?

If the suit will most likely be made out of fabric it will be easier to remove they might be throwing in a new Bruce Wayne head sculpt with a suit.

I also hope they include two Batman heads;
one featuring "PERS"
the second additional Batman head should come with the lenses. Those would look so cool if the lit up, like the IRON MAN figure.

Lastly I have no doubt will give us the sticky-bomb gun.

Ahhhh well, I have the HT TDK Batman on order already but....pending some more info/pictures, I imagine I'll be canceling and pre-ordering the next MMS DX beauty...

Sounds good, though I was hoping the next figures would be based on Watchmen. To have Watchmen figures of the same quality as Hot Toy's Dark Knight range would be fantastic.

This is not the new one coming out... It is the normal Movie Masterpiece Dark Knight Batman... The new Batman that they are supposed to be making will be a Movie Masterpiece MMS DX... Not that theres anything wrong with the normal one... The MMS DX will just have more things coming with it...

Nothing official from Hot Toys yet, so I would say, yes, it's just a rumor at this point. However, I see no reason why it couldn't be real.

My TDK Batman came in this week. Awesome figure! I am inerested in this MMS DX TDK figure however.

He just says Batman though, no confirmation it's TDK. Which is still unclear which it is.

All I know is it's in development and will come with lots of goodies, Personally I hope it'll be a combo of BB and TDK, but who knows.

Man I really wish HT would go back and try to get the licenses on the first few Bat films. I mean 2009 is the 20th anniversary of Batman, they should have got the licenses and made a Keaton as Batman as Jack as Joker. That would have sold like hot cakes.

I would like to see what HT could do with a comics license. Perhaps doing particular artist's versions. I think it would be awesome to see them do an Alex Ross Batman!!
