They are both beautiful, but I prefer the old suit, simply because i dont like all they separate gray/ silver pieces on the new suit.

Both figures look sweet (my favorite being the Batman Begins) but the more I look at the TDK figure, the more I feel like the head looks too much like the Mattel 12 inch version. Pretty darn close if you compare them.

What do you think of the Takara version? I read a lot of reviews regarding the Hot Toy's original suit versus the Takara.

The cape on the Takara is just like the description from the film. Soft and so easily flexible. As the Hot Toy's version is so thick and heavy and I do believe many said the Hot Toy's version had standing problems.

Fox opens up a memory cloth which can be assigned any type of riged shape when an electric current passes through it be a specially designed glove.

A lot preferred the Takara for likeliness amongst other things.

Looking at this stuff is a bad disease. It makes me want to get the Hot Toy's original suit version even though I have the Takara.

Yeah, their all good in their own right. I have the Takara Batman as well and absolutely love it. I've heard an occassional treatment of leather restorer on the rubber suit will keep it intact and vibrant for years to come. Food for thought given the cost.

I just wish that takara would throw their hat into the ring and save us all the inevitable stress when we all realise after buying the hot toys one that the takara one is going to be better like it was when begins came out, grr why do i love there figures so.

what is with all the silver in the Hot Toys TDK suit? there's some SLIGHT color variations throught the suit but come on.

also I'd like to point out it's scary how well they do flesh texture

From what I've seen of the real pics. It looks just like it... and that depends on the lighting.
