Hot Wheels 1:18 89 Batmobile

Man, I found out today that Hot Wheels created a die cast version of my favorite Batmobile 3 years ago and didn't know about it!!

Does anyone know where to find em? They're going for 50-100 on ebay. How much were they originally?

And is there any news if they're re-release them when TDK comes out?

Ive seen them in die cast hobby shops as well as KB Toys. My local TRUs had one up until a couple months ago. They are in different packaging than the original release but its still the same car.

I found one on ebay, 40 including shipping. Worth it?

Depends on how badly you want it. I think mine ran me around $20 at Sharper Image and I love it. Just doing a few quick searches, I didn't see any better prices. If you've got the cash to spare, go for it.
