How about a Morbius film?

What do you think? I could see it being somewhere like "An American Werewolf In London" and "Lost Boys" type of horror action drama.

The TAS Morbius isn't the actual Morbius.
Because it was a kids cartoon on saturday morning they had to make some changes.

But the real Morbius is a Spider-Man villian, a man who is genetically altered to be a living vampire. So i assume in the movie he would be sucking blood, possibly an anti hero.

I still don't know if that movie would work though.

AS long as they don't try and use that original blue and red costume! If you watch the behind-the-scenes on the Blade dvd, there was an alternate ending filmed where Blade and the lady dr. come out of the underground and it's daytime and she says something like "Looks like someone else is waiting for you." and they look up and theres a guy standing on the building across the street and Blade says "Oh ****!" and pulls his sword and credits roll. That guy is supposed to be Morbius for a sequel but the idea was scrapped for some reason. I think Morbius would be better as a character in another movie like maybe a Blade 4 (which I would only want to see if Snipes was playing him and Goyer WASN'T directing. Bring back Norrington and do Blade 4 with Morbius! I also wouldn't mind a Midnight Sons movie with the Nightstalkers (From the comics), Ghost Rider, and Morbius with a good story and done with a talented director (again, Norrington or Del Toro).

I also once heard that Jared Nomek was origionally intended to be Morbius, but they decided againts it as Sam Raimi was contemplaiting using him in one of the Spider-Man films.

I just want to say, regarding the comic costume, it's really black and red, not blue. Blue is just for contrast, just like Batman's cowl and The Punisher's suit.

No, the reason they didnt use him in Blade II was because another studio had the rights to him at that time.

But yeah, i would love to see a Morbius movie, he is an awesome character IMO.

I love Morbius's internal struggle over being a vampire physically, but not wanting to have to do it.

I'd love to see him in some capacity in a movie.
