Going by yourself?

You and a significant other?

I kind of hope you all spread the word to your friends and get a group to go :) I've already talked about it to family and friends and plan to get about 10-12 people to show up at theater. Then we go to Chili's after. Heh-heh did that for MOS. :D

Can't wait!!!

A few aren't even superhero fans but talking people into going early on. My excitement wins them over (usually) :p

My group will consist of me, my wife, my brother, his wife and my brother in law. My parents and my mother in law may come as well. I took my parents to see Man of Steel. The group may get bigger depending. My brother makes shirts so he already made us the Comic Con BvS image as our opening day shirts. Man I can't wait!

I'll most likely see it alone. I try to see things the first week they com out, my wife likes to wait until later.

Me, the wife, my daughter, my two nephews, sister in-law and father-in-law so that's 7 of us.

Hopefully, I'll manage to see it alone for the first time. I prefer it that way.

Then, if I go for the second viewing, I'd see it with some friends of mine, whose number might vary greatly.

I'd try telling her the vibe is much more fun on opening night, and that the crowd is much better than the typical movie going crowd. Same thing with going to see SW movies on opening night. Way better viewing experience and a lot of fun!

Easier to take the full movie experience in by yourself you mean? I wouldn't mind watching it back to back if possible :D

Indeed, that's exactly what I mean. And some of my mates are a bit... untamed, so they could potentially present a distraction I'd rather avoid, for the first viewing, at least. :woot:

As for the family, they're simply not interested in CBMs. So, yeah, I'll most likely be a lone wolf in this case.

No, I will not be doing that. We are not teens. We have been married for 16 years....we are both older adults...we know what the other wants or doesn't want to do about things. She knows I like to go the first weekend or first week to see superhero movies....she wants to see the movies but does not want to go the first week. She does not try to keep me from going alone....I do not try and make her go early. The basis of a good long relationship is not forcing the other person to do something they don't like to make you feel better.

girlfriend, brother and about 4-5 friends for sure. But I live in small town and Multiplex is opening on the october 29th, so I think the whole town will be there :D definitely seeing it with mom and dad :D

What im hoping for to see is a theater showing filled with excited fans of Batman and superman, like in this reaction video:

What I'm hoping to experience is a quiet cinema when watching the goddamn movie. :oldrazz:

Yes, I know, I am a cranky bastard.

Well i expect people to drop their jaws in absolute awe during the big fight of these two titans. :argh:

Hey, I'm all for it.

Jaw dropping usually doesn't make much of a sound. :oldrazz:

As tempting as it may be, I will not be watching this film on the opening weekend as I hate the huge crowds. I will be catching it the second weekend with a few friends and my brother.

Very true. :funny:

Although when the film ends and just before the end credits scene plays expects tears to be shed, alliances to be changed, a whole lotta anticipation for the upcoming slate finished with a massive round of applause for BvS.

Although most of the crying will be done by me guaranteed.

I can't make up my mind, to tell you the truth. I absolutely hate huge crowds, but on the other hand, the longer I postpone going to see the movie, there's a bigger possibility that I'll get to learn about some spoilers.

Applause when the film ends would definitely be a great thing.

And if I feel the urge, I'll certainly try to shed some dignified, manly tears.
Or I'll curl up and cry like a little girl. That'll do the job as well. :o

That's the downside to it but I can take it. I did with TDKR, Avengers and AoU and I was fine for the most part. I'm absolutely going the second weekend though. To wait longer would be too risky.

This is actually a very useful info to me. All of those movies were quite anticipated, so if you didn't hear many spoiler for those, I guess BvS ones can be easily avoided. But, yeah, definitely the second weekend.

And not just because of spoilers... after two years, I am not going to wait a single day more past that.

That's the spirit.

Be vigilant nonetheless. You have to avoid some cites to not catch any spoilers. I'll just read a book that whole week or 2 weeks prior and avoid the internet. :woot:

Hey, I said that I was cranky, not that I was a complete dick. :woot:
I certainly want BvS to do well and to see it get enthusiastic feedback from people. :cwink:

Actually, that was the plan. :woot:

I'll only use the internet for the purposes of my academic obligations. Other than that, no way in hell.

Sorry I will read your bio next time before addressing you ;)

I'm assuming and hopeful this will be better than MOS which was awesome, and I remember applause at the end of that one by quite a few people.

Is it wrong if I feel quite sure it is already better than mos  ?
