Do you think people really feel Spidey would win, or is this just the result of Spiderman being more popular?

I'm a bigger Spidey fan. And I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that the HULK is the strongest one there is. No one beats the HULK. Those things are ALL a popularity contest.

I would have like to see Hulk face Juggs in the finals for that braket. But it doesn't look like Juggs will get past Venom

Venom would eat his brains. But Venom would be no match for the HULK's thunder clap. The three mightest Marvel characters are Thor, HULK, and the Silver Surfer.

Do you think Thor is tougher than Hulk?

No, I don't think so. But he does have a lot of extra magic powers that the Hulk doesn't have. He could teleport Hulk far away but in a straight slug-fest he'd get his ticket punched eventually. Same thing goes for the Surfer.

The Hulk is definitely stronger than Spider-Man but Spidey is quicker. Because of that it is possible for Spider-Man to defeat him. It would be hard though and certainly wouldn't happen all the time.

Actually he's not that much quicker, and all that would mean is that he's able to stay out of the way. Spidey can't even hurt the Hulk so I don't see how he'd ever win a fight.

Actually, he's much quicker. Which is why Hulk has had such a hard time defeating Spiderman in the past. One hit would ko Spidey, but it takes everything Hulks got to get him once.

The whole competition seems to be off, it is by no means an accurate account of how the duels would go if they really occured, especially judging by some of the earlier round results...

in a flat out sprint, hulk is faster than spidey...hulk has also managed to tag speedsters faster than spidey before.

it's just the usual case when they are fighting to make spidey seem quicker by contrast but by no means is the hulk a slow being.

Relative to a human yes 40x times is extremely fast but given that the Hulk was able to hit quicksilver then relative to the Hulk, I would say he cannot be that much faster and that his Spidey sense must come into play...

No. And I agree that the Ol' Jade Jaw would kill Spidey given enough time. Spidey would dodge almost every blow. Every time they fight he jumps around and the HULK punches and hits only air. Eventually the HULK's punches make contact, and all he needs is one good hit. He's got speed. But with Spidey's speed AND spider sense, it makes him hard to touch. But, at the end of the day, all it would take is a huge thunder clap and Spidey would be on the ground.

No one beats the HULK.

Yes I would agree that image is edifying and based solely on that, you are more then correct. However, I do not know from what comic that image comes from because others show the Hulk moving at great speeds.

Now lets even consider this, is Quicksilver quicker then Spiderman. If he is, which is what I believe, then the Hulk would be quick enough if it was not for Spider Sense. I just think Spiderman starts with a second headstart to everybody else meaning he SEEMS allot faster then he is when fighting others.

The question is whether Hulk could get faster as he gets angrier as well...and by this I mean his strength increases and his muscles become more efficient then couldn't he also get faster as well...reflex wise?

I think Spiderman is more agile than quicksilver. But Quicksilvers speed is greater than Spidermans speed.

it's not about speed, it's about reflexes. hulk is not slow by any standards, but he certainly doesn't have the reaction speed that spidey does. i think a fight between the two could go either way.
