How did you come up with your username?

I apologize if a thread like this has been made. It probably has, actually.

Back in 2011-2012 when we knew very little about DKR, I was very fascinated with the backstory of Bane, how he was born and raised in jail and what not. I thought that was a very interesting origin for a Batman supervillain, then came the prologue and we had the "extremely painful" line from him and... yeah.

I needed to know more and more about DKR so I finally succumbed and made myself an account. Been somewhat active ever since. What are your stories?

A fire zombie reaver sounded like a pretty cool guy. He goes raiding on the seas in full armor and doesn't afraid of drowning. Also, he's from the Ice and Fire books, the source material for HBO's Game of Thrones.

I once ran into a terrible madman named Victor Van Isentrome. I was knocked out, kidnapped and sent into his mines. I worked there for five long years, fighting in the battle pits, murdering other prisoners for food and selling makeshift shivs out of my cave. After a few dozen shivs and ratting out dozens of escapee attempts I made my way up the food chain and eventually becoming head lackey to the prison chief. One day there was a raid by a militant group bent on freeing the prisoners, I feigned ignorance and pretended not to speak the language. As soon as I could I disguised myself to look like another inmate, murdered him and ran off into the night, eventually making my way to Canada under that mans identity. That man was KevanG.

Also I am a survivor of the planet Krypton who landed here in 1976, and in order to protect myself legally and financially my lawyers suggested that I proceed to incorporate myself and all my known holdings. I am actually in a protracted lawsuit right now with some *****e from Metropolis named Clark Kent over the right to even do so. I don't even know how he has a claim. I mean... Clark Kent isn't even a Kryptonian name!

I liked Marvel... I liked DC... I'm male... so I thought it fit for a neutral looking name.

In 2014, I had it changed to OriginalMiles because that's my go-to internet alias anyway.

I used to be Deathlok, because it the same name that I used to use when I did on-line gaming back in the old days...

But I decided that I wanted to have a name that didn't belong to an existing comic or film character. So I racked my brains (didn't take that long!)
My life was quite sh**ty at the time and I came up with what I have now. I felt it was quite apt as the word "retrograde" literally means "moving backward" and orbit, well the meaning of that word is obvious!
So yeah, I went for "RetrogradeOrbit"
My life is much better these days, but I like the name, so it's stuck... Although I wish I had a space between the words!

So I decided to make it my PSN username only to find that it was already taken, so I added the hyphens and when I made made my account here I used the same name from my PSN account.

General RAAM is from one my favorite video game franchises ever, Gears of War. The first game had a real impact on me, and the main villain was awesome. 582 is just something that came up in my head. I honestly don't know why. I like odd numbers, and 5 is the only even number I like. OCD is weird like that. Anyway, RAAM582 or General RAAM582 is my goto internet name.

Wanna know how I got this username? My father was a drinker and a fiend. And one night he goes off crazier than usual. Mommy gets the kitchen knife to defend herself. He doesn't like that. Not. One. Bit. So - me watching - he takes the knife to her, laughing while he does it! Turns to me, and he says, "Why so serious, son?" Comes at me with the knife... "Why so serious?" He sticks the blade in my mouth... "Let's put an ulcer on that face!" And... why so serious?

Um... I love the darkness and speaking of death, how I came up with that, I was probably thinking of Lady Death from the marvel comics...so I thought well, I'm gonna pick this name cause it has a ring to it but sounds like a male version of death. lol...and no, I don't work for Thanos.
