Yes....there are 100 of us....all you have to do is go to VIEW FORUM LEADERS on the front page and it will show you the names of all 100 of the.....uh, what's that, there are only 17 mods and 5 Administrators listed.....how could that be....everyone is up in arms that there are 100 mods, but only 17 are listed....it must be a conspiracy....they are lying to us....oh wait....I'm a mod....so I must be lying to you....yeah, that's the ticket......


There are 17 mods http://forums.superherohype.com/showgroups.php several of whom generaly stay mostly in one or two forums and a couple who haven't been on much at all of late.

There are 10 Administrators listed....2 are the owners SUPERHEROHYPE and EXCELSIOR who don't really participate in the day to day shenannigans here, but pop in for special occasions....and 3 are just technical background people that don't post at all....which leaves 5 day to day Admins of which several (like Dew said in a previous post in here) don't make it around that much lately due to something called life.

I could be the mod that only comes out to utterly abuse bonafide trolls and make them piss in their Spider-Man underoos before they get hit with the ban stick so they don't even want to come back under a different name. Yea but think about it. Just banning someone, they could come back again.

But if you utterly humiliate them in front of everybody THEN ban them...they won't WANT to come back again. See, it makes perfect sense

Careful, I think it is customary around here that if you ASK to be a Mod, you won't get to be one.

And dammit, half of my friends from my first few years here are Mods (the other half... banned or MIA)... and here I am, somehow practically an unknown...

Campaigning for modhood definately lowers your chance of becoming one. When people post a lot that they would make a good mod because they would ban this or that kind of poster but are not known for being helpful towards others or for following the rules themselves....then you have to question thier reasons for wanting the position.

In all honesty I don't think I would be a good choice of mod for here anyway, the place is big and mods here have a more hands on approach than that which I'm used to in other boards (not a good thing, not a bad thing - just a different thing). I'm too eager with the abuse and too light with the ban-stick.

I'm also aware that even though I've only been here a short while, other folk would have picked that up about me as well...
