How is Coventry?

[Hurm...]

I'm planning on moving to Coventry, West Midlands, UK in a few days since I'm going to the University of Warwick, and I'm wondering how the crime rate is (Heard it's not the greatest place to be in late at night lol). If any of you guys could help give me some information on the area or if any of you have lived there that would be awesome. England should be interesting nonetheless.

I was in coventry a few days ago and i have to say that i found it to be a very depressing place. The people are haggard, the buildings are ugly and every time i go there it always seems to rain. On the plus side, Coventry cathedral is quite nice to walk around and it has some nice old pubs, plus it has a forbidden planet.

In conclusion, the place is a **** hole.

Depressing? Thats the UK in General not just coventry, i live about 30 miles north of there.... it doesn't get any better ANYWHERE!
