I've been trying so long since graduation to try and go to bed by like midnight or 1AM max, but I'm too addicted to... posting on forums, playing video games, and just staying up late. Still working on it though. How about the rest of y'all?

Well, I'm still in grad school, so I use that as an excuse to keep my college hours, lol. I usually go to bed around 4am. Which can be a problem on work days, but it's not like my work is a 9-5 gig (I work at a movie theater which generally doesn't open 'til noon), so I still get SOME sleep, even on those days.

I stay up until 2:00 or 3:00 in the morning, usually.

11p.m. at the latest on weekdays. I don't drink coffee so it's a struggle to stay awake at work if I stayed up later the night before.

I try to be in bed by 11 o' clock PM every night, both weekdays as well as the weekend. This is mainly because I am anticipating early shifts (as early as 6 AM, though those are pretty rare), so I want to be up and about at 5 AM. I don't mind either, I'm an early bird.

Ideally, I would prefer to go to bed around midnight, but 5 hours of sleep would be too little for me to the point where it gets unhealthy. 6 is my bare minimum, and I'm doing fine with it.

I used to go to bed around midnight- 12:30 but for a while now I have been staying up way to late a lot of nights going to bed at like 2-3 getting up for work at like 7-8 so I need to get back to going to bed a little earlier. I just had something for a while that was making me very depersed and strexts out so I just couldn't sleep. Now things have gotten better but I have just gotten into that bad ruten so I need to get back to it. The problem is that I was staying up latter for so long that when I would try to go to bed around 12 I just wake up ever like 2 hours or so.

I am more of a night person so even if I am exsostied 11 is like the earliest I can go to sleep but I know getting a lot of nights of only 5 hours of sleep like I have been getting for a long time is really unhealthy and I am tried of felling tried all the time lol. So I just got to get back into the habbit of going to bed earlier. Will probly take me a good month or so to get back to being used to it. If I didn't have to work I would go to bed at like 12-1 and get up at 10 has that is when I fell the best. I can get like 12 hours of sleep but if I have to get up at 6 I am still going to fell very tired just not a moring person don't know how people can get up early. If I have to get up before 6 I basicly cant even funchation and if I get up at like 6-7 I have to struggle for the first few hours I am awake to stay awake. I like working 8-5 but I fell really tired but if I work later yeah I wont fell so tried but I will be at work like all day so for me its either be tried or fell like I live at work lol.

Between 11pm and Midnight.

I'm usually up a 7am or earlier - so I try to get my 8 hours but often don't.

My biggest problem is even though I'm tired and in bed I often can't sleep.
My mind keeps cycling through what I need to do the next day, or whatever I'm worrying about or other distractions.

This semester has spoiled me.

All throughout college, I've had morning classes (8-9 AM) at least 2-3 times a week. This semester, however, my earliest class is at 10:30 AM, which frankly feels late for me, and the rest start at noon or later.

I would sleep by 1 AM at the latest, but this semester I've been staying up until 3 AM almost every night.

It's probably not the best habit to develop as I start looking for jobs.

I usually go to sleep between midnight and 1AM... I drink about a pot and a half of decaf a day... it doesn't keep me awake in the least, as by the time my head hits that pillow, I'm out in about less than 10 minutes without a problem ever... it's just that the coffee makes me wake up a couple of times during the night to leave a leak, LOL...

I work Monday through Friday, 8 to 4 - which I'm very fortunate to have - and yet I absolutely abuse my sleep schedule/pattern, lol. I'm lucky if I go to bed at 1:30-2:00AM, and then I get home at 5 and pass out until 8PM. :whatever:

It changes.
Sometimes I sleep between 11:00pm - 2:30am
There are the rare occasions when I sleep before 10:00pm

Being my own boss now I'm back to staying up late so 2-3am is the norm for me now. My problem is sometimes I will sleep in for way too long and not get anything done. Or I'll take naps when I've already had 10 hours of sleep. Studies have consistently shown that people with higher intelligence tend to stay up later than regular folks though

In the week I try to not be later than 10.30pm, but on the weekends I pretty much stay up until I just crash out. Sometimes 5am, but usually around 3am...

this thread is discriminatory to those of us who work second and third shifts :argh: :p

i guess technically i should put before 8pm, cuz i usually go to bed around 8 or 9am. but i put after 3am since i know i'm in the majority that isn't on a day schedule like yall are.

at the latest, i'm usually home by 4am, and now that i've got a part-time afternoon job coaching at my rival highschool (:down), i have to figure out how to set my clock back and try to get in bed by 6am cuz i need to start getting up around 1 or 2 pm

I work nightshift 630-5am, I am in bed by 6am.

On my days off I stay up until 3-4am. Usually getting up by 12pm.

how in the world do you fall asleep so soon after getting home? what kind of work is it? i work in a warehouse and it's active, so i wonder if that's why i have a hard time

I also work for a warehouse lol (Amazon), I used to work 530-4am so I would still be in bed by 6 but now I work in HR for them, but I think I'm just used to it and it's easy for me to fall asleep. My body cant even handle staying up past 630, I just start feeling terrible if I stay up any longer then that.

It was such a major difference from when I worked at McDonalds and I would work 430am-2/3pm with going to bed at 11, but somehow i was able to easily adapt.

Well, during my last summer holiday I often stayed up past 12pm all the way to 2pm, so I was awake from like 6-7pm of one day to 2pm of the next xD

Eh I'm in school again so I sleep at 2-5 am now.

between midnight and past 3 AM :( I am a nighthawk so ... blah. I hate my sleeping pattern sometimes.

I work a grave shift, so I'm usually in bed in the late afternoon so I can wake up at midnight.

Even if I have to be up at 7am I can't fall asleep until 3am. I'm a night person. Society is built around morning people who fall asleep and get rest early and easy though
