I've stopped trying to argue about that, especially since the Bible doesn't really say there will be a "Judgement Day"...it foresaw and fall of Babylon, so yes there will be a Judgement Day well over 1000 years ago, some people just cannot interpret text very well I suppose.

That aside. If there is, I honestly don't care. I'll look out my window Judgement Day morning, see fire, brimstone, and Baby Jesus floating on a cloud...roll my eyes and think "Looks like another *****ty day", then call in sick to work. Sleep right through it and wake up knowing Pat Robertson won't be poluting the airwaves and finally they can start putting REAL television on the networks on Sunday mornings.

What, some vague reference to people "being sexually indecent" in Kings...no there is no reason. There is no commandment and no sermon by Jesus that says "to follow me you cannot be gay".

God did a lot of weird things, such as eradicate humanity, but (according to Jewish faith...I'm not, but according to it's writers so far as we know) the stories were allegories, not meant to be taken as literally. And the reason why most of the characters were depraved such as David who was a womanizer, Solomon who was an idolator and Abramham who was an adulterer was to illustrate that we all had sins but that the tradition of the religion was stronger than those who passed it on (at least that's my take).

my sister's boyfriend told me of the time he was a mod on a forum and he banned a guy for typing bout three pages saying why gays are the anti christare 15 minutes apart

Ok, Walk me through this then. I am a gay american (Lol, couldn't help it) And I am deemed to be going to hell, Right? There are religious people who kill or bash gay people. I keep hearing that god loves all, but I also hear that I won't go to heaven because i'm gay... What about the people who kill us, bash us, condemn us? Where does that leave them?

Just because people say they are Christians and read the bible does not necessarily mean they actually listen and follow the wisdom and word of Jesus. Does the bible say that homosexuality is a sin? Yes it does. Does that mean if you are gay you are going to hell, no it does not. Just because a person is saved and accepts Jesus as their savior, that does not mean they just stop sinning. All people no matter who you are sin. Jesus died for our sins, if you accept him as your Savior that you will go to heaven, even if you are gay. A lot of people think that their religion gives them a right to hate and that is not true, its just that there are so many intolerant and ignorant people out there and they use religion, not as a way of life, but as a way to get people to do what they want them to do. And that is wrong and not what Jesus taught. Don't put off religion because of what ignorant people say or do.
