BvS How should Superman win the Peoples trust in the movie?

But in all seriousness, I hope it doesn't happen with him dying at the end of the movie ala doomsday. Just too early for that story IMO

I don't think you have to get all cute with it. I'd like to see Superman, maybe standing in the middle of a mob and he allows his critics just tear him apart left and right;shouting things at him. Being angry at him. Throwing out the most absurd and derogatory insults one at a time with powerful chatter behind it as he remains silent just listening. After getting drilled, simply have Supes look each and every citizen in the eye who cussed him out, smile and promise them that he will win them over and he is here to help. He goes on that he takes full responsibility by the way his critics view him and uses his charm to ask for the chance for him to try to change their minds of him as he flys away. This is followed by good deed after good deed from Superman throughout the movie with the public and doing some heroic things along the way, even the little stuff. Slowly but surely and by the end, people will cheer him and sing his name.

I've actually been thinking of a scene like that whenever I listen to "Earth".
This may be a tab spoilery but if you've scene the set pics it's all good.

We know that there are protesters that have signs and people burning a Superman dummy etc.
So I like to think that in that scene you hear the sonic boom and people turn around to see Superman floating there with the sun behind him (like in Man of Steel when he first showed himself to the military).

People start throwing things, yelling at him, showing him the burning dummy n all that. He starts tearing up maybe then he hears something, maybe the flooding/natural disaster scene? You know, those set pics of those half houses with the shield on them.
Anyway so he simply just says, "I'm sorry" and bang, he's gone in the blink of an eye, the people protesting are kinda in shock.

Then cut to a news broadcast (which I hope is one of the things they've brought in from DKReturns) with a heated debate over Superman and his place in the world, maybe Lois and that Woodburn guy from Man of Steel? But then they get interrupted by a broadcast of the disaster happening and Superman comes n saves the day, all that good stuff.

Then Batman comes along with a great recipe from Alfred for Bat cookies and Batman ends up winning the people over. Batman could install a cookie dispenser/shooter in his Batmobile and fire cookies towards citizens.

The secret is that the recipe contains a special ingredient: Kryptonite, meaning that if Clark ever stumbles across the cookies and eats one, he gets beaten by Bats.

If the rumours are to be believed BVS happens 2 years after MOS.Thats 2 years of Superman doing good deeds yet people still dont trust him.
So Id say he needs more

Couldn't say it better myself. How? By doing the job without concern for approval. By soldiering on and showing that he is a Man Of Steel in more ways than one.
